OCEAN PARK (Ghost Surfer series)
30x40 inches; acrylic and pencil on canvas.
There’s a Birth of Venus feel about this skinny surfer in his shorts, T-shirt and surf hat. This figure appears to be balancing on a tightrope, tethered to a board that’s not even visible in the ocean spray. A cerulean sky dissolves into pale gray and white clouds, mirroring white spray rising from ocean-blue waves.

I've been writing every day lately. When the muse shows up, I go with her--doesn't happen often. This photo is from when I was dating John Goodman a few months ago. It didn't work out. by @amydezellar
