Thank you Pasadena Star News for covering my data center organizing, and campaign for Alhambra City Council.

For more than a decade, I've worked alongside San Gabriel Valley communities on public health and environmental justice issues. I believe it's important to protect our most vulnerable residents, and to advance health and well-being for all. My approach has always been collaborative: listen to residents, bring people together, build coalitions, and turn community concerns into action.

I'm ready to bring that same approach to Alhambra City Hall.

Leadership is about action and results, not slogans.

I've spent years working to make Alhambra a better place. From organizing three Golden Streets events and advocating for safer streets to serving on two city commissions, developing community leaders, and fighting to protect our neighborhoods from data centers.

My record reflects years of bringing people together, solving problems, and getting things done.

I'm proud of the work I've done for Alhambra, and I'm ready to bring that same leadership to City Council.

Llevo años trabajando para mejorar Alhambra. He ayudado a organizar tres eventos de Golden Streets, promovido calles más seguras, servido en dos comisiones municipales, formado líderes comunitarios y luchado para proteger nuestros vecindarios de los centros de datos.

Mi trayectoria refleja años de unir a la comunidad, resolver problemas y lograr resultados.

Me enorgullece el trabajo que he hecho por Alhambra y estoy lista para llevar ese mismo liderazgo al Concejo Municipal.

I’m proud to have earned the support of elected officials, community leaders, small business owners, labor unions, and organizations across the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles County!

This long list of support is a testament to my ability to collaborate, bring people together, solve problems, and get things done. Throughout my career, I’ve built strong relationships and worked across communities to deliver real results. I’m ready to bring that same approach to Alhambra City Council.

This past weekend marked the 12th anniversary of the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument!

On October 10, 2014, President Obama designated the San Gabriel Mountains as a National Monument, protecting one of our region’s most important natural treasures.

Our mountains provide 30% of LA County’s drinking water and 70% of our open space. They're also a place where families can connect with nature, explore the outdoors, and escape the busy city.

Through my work with local nonprofits, I've been proud to advocate for our public lands and greater access to the outdoors. In 2024, years of community advocacy helped secure an expansion of the National Monument.

As we celebrate 12 years, I'm grateful to everyone who has worked to protect these mountains and make them more accessible for future generations.

上個週末是聖蓋博山脈國家紀念區成立12週年！

2014年10月10日，歐巴馬總統正式將聖蓋博山脈指定為國家紀念區，保護了我們地區最珍貴的自然資源之一。

聖蓋博山脈提供洛杉磯縣約30%的飲用水，並佔全縣約70%的開放空間。這裡也是許多家庭親近大自然、享受戶外活動，以及遠離城市繁忙生活的好地方。

El 10 de octubre de 2014, el presidente Obama designó las Montañas de San Gabriel como Monumento Nacional, protegiendo uno de los tesoros naturales más importantes de nuestra región.

Nuestras montañas proporcionan el 30% del agua potable del condado de Los Ángeles y representan el 70% de nuestros espacios abiertos. También son un lugar donde las familias pueden conectarse con la naturaleza, disfrutar del aire libre y alejarse del ajetreo de la ciudad.

A través de mi trabajo con organizaciones comunitarias sin fines de lucro, he tenido el orgullo de defender nuestras tierras públicas y promover un mayor acceso a la naturaleza. En 2024, después de años de esfuerzo comunitario, logramos ampliar el área protegida del Monumento Nacional.

I had a great time at Alhambra Fire Station 71’s annual Open House!

Thank you to Battalion Chief Mike Brown and Alhambra firefighters for the tour. Roughly 80% of emergency calls are medical-related and our firefighters are EMT-certified, with many also trained as paramedics.

We are glad to have Fire Station 71 in District 1. As a City Council candidate, I believe in listening to and supporting our first responders to keep our community safe!

非常感謝消防大隊長 Mike Brown 和阿罕布拉市的消防員帶領我們參觀消防站。這次參觀讓我了解到，約80%的緊急求助電話與醫療急救有關。我們的消防員都持有緊急醫療技術員（EMT）資格，其中許多人也接受過更進一步的救護技術員（Paramedic）專業訓練。
