“The bigger you dream, the bigger you grow.”

Yi-seo’s words have been etched into my heart ever since I first heard them in Itaewon Class. In fact, that entire scene has remained at the forefront of my memory—their laughter, their dreams, the intimacy of trusting someone with dreams that feel impossible, and the guitar playing in the background, sending a rush through your veins.

That scene meant everything to me, so naturally, I had to stand there and see it with my own eyes.

Having what once existed only on my screen suddenly in front of me made it all even sweeter. It felt as though I were having a conversation with my younger self. She told me her most impossible dreams, and I told her, “Everything is possible because you are a woman of your word. Not only will you have everything you want, but you will become a version of yourself far more valuable than anything you could ever possess.”

Itaewon Class gave me the language to understand that what looks impossible can become possible with patience, resilience, and the courage to stay true to who you are.

Going to all the places where BTS lived, worked, and spent their time was such a beautiful experience. I was hit by waves of nostalgia, pride, and sadness all at once.

Don’t be deceived by the photos, I cried at almost every location. Standing in those places, I could feel the courage, perseverance, determination, and pain that shaped their journey.

All I could think about was how hard the boys had worked, especially knowing how humble their beginnings were. I felt an overwhelming sense of pride, not just in everything they’ve accomplished and wonderful people they had become but in the fact that these are the artists I flew across oceans to see.

For so long, I thought it would take me years to get here. And somehow, I got to experience it in 2026, during the ARIRANG era. What a gift 💜
