Lake Powell ‘24

A beautiful place shared with beautiful people.. I’m feeling grateful for this human experience & all that comes with it 🫶🏻

The last few days were filled with northern lights, slot canyons, sunrises, dancing, dancing, and more dancing, giggles galore, sooooo much radiant love, new things, hard things, squishy things (mud wars), prom, jet skis and boating, new friendships, rekindled friendships, and a whole boat (pun intended) of other things, oh and a hotdog war, literally.

insane bro, & i wouldn’t have it any other way.

p.s @skylerfitzmo is the moo deng of photography.. we love him! taken in Lake Powell by @amygraceriker

Life lately has been a whirlwind. Heaps of life changes have me feeling inspired, anxious, excited, happy, sad and just a whole ball of emotions (seriously, ahh).

I’ve been so grateful to call San Diego home the last 7 years. I’m soaking up every drop of my time here before heading over to New Zealand in December to buy my van. I would love to connect and see all my people as much as possible these coming weeks! This trip has been years in the making and it still doesn’t feel real to say. Even though it’s been on my radar for the last 5 or so years, I always kind of doubted it would happen. This trip holds many symbolic meanings to me and feel like it completes that “full circle” moment from my upbringing. Yay to new things! 🌱

I believe that getting upside down works even better than caffeine (i love caffeine but the instant blood to the brain just can’t be beat). In college i would do handstands against a wall during late night study sessions to give my brain a jolt…

My inversion practice has been the most consistent thing in my life (and camera roll) for the last 10 years.. aside from coffee 🤭 by @amygraceriker

Goodbye 2023

This year was an absolute dream filled with so many sweet times. Thank you you to all my beautiful friends & moments that filled this year with music, inspiration, love, food, creativity, sunsets + sunrises, dancing, adventures, and silliness.

Thank you to all the lessons- especially the hard ones, it wasn’t easy but you taught me so much.

Thank you to my body- the many hours spent rock climbing, high lining, handstand & inversion practice, yoga, running, and dancing dancing dancing- thank you.

& thank you to my soul family. You filled my year with a highlight reel i could never dream of and supported me through the toughest nightmares. You special people know who you are- i am so grateful to walk this earth with you all.

Love to you all ✨ by @amygraceriker

A single flame both defies and defines the darkness🌙🕯

I’m so fascinated and thankful for the contradiction of yin/yang, the ebb & flow of life that either gives me laugh lines or tears. For without one, we would not feel the power of the other.

While darkness makes me feel uncomfortable, it has fueled my greatest growth.

So a big thank you to my parents for challenging me. Though not setting up real roots was tough, moving every few years across the world, across the country and around the state in my adolescence propelled me in ways that continue to show up and surprise me in my adulthood. I’m eternally grateful. ✨

Thanks to past relationships that introduced a heightened self awareness and deeper reflection of myself. We learn so much about ourselves from those we chose to spend our time with. Hi personal growth 🙋🏼‍♀️

Thank you to my failures as they have been the biggest teaching moments of my life. And to the ones that didn’t seem to teach me anything, I clearly can’t remember you, so it’s just an ode to the whole “just a season, it does get better and it won’t matter in the future” 😜

I’m not afraid of the dark times or change anymore- just working on being here now :)
