Our #1 girl, the baby, our Aliboo is 18! And man, oh man she is a force! They say that God only gives you what you can handle so I guess he thought I could handle this girly tomboy. At 51 years old, I strive to be more like her every day. Not only does she light up every room she walks into with her beauty and welcoming smile, but it’s her inside beauty and funny charm that draws you in and leaves you remembering her. I honestly don’t think she’s ever entered a room of strangers and left it that same way. And if you don’t like her, it’s probably because you didn’t take time to really get to know her. She has a maturity for handling life’s punches that I am still trying to achieve. She is more kind, more athletic, more resilient, more forgiving, more beautiful inside and out, and certainly stronger than I’ve ever been. And when I want to lead with a gangster mentality, she chooses to lead with grace and encourages me to do the same. She chooses to give grace every single day and to see the good in whatever bad comes her way. She has led me closer to God by witnessing the strength of her faith, and her trust that there is a plan for her life that is not for her to decide. She makes a choice to get back up with a smile no matter how hard circumstances push her down. And I know for certain that she will continue to shed light onto the people that are lucky enough to be loved by her.

Officially leaving the teenage years behind, and it’s been one heck of a year. A year that required putting your trust that Gods plan is the best plan, even if it was not the way we planned. And then there was one🥺 This girl is ready for an amazing junior year! Praying for her mind to be clear for learning as she takes her first college dual enrollment courses, that her heart is strong in courage and determination. May she continue to grow in wisdom, kindness, and confidence, and always remember her true worth comes from God. That she is surrounded with the gift of true friendship and happiness this year. A little slow on the post but this was too good of a season not to memory book it. We now have two Harllees holding defensive football records at Chiles. 💪🏼🏈
This awesome team of girls and coaches took Chiles Varsity Flag Football all the way to State for the first time, winning their 4th District win, and first time Regional Championship win. Sadly, they took a loss on the last game at State, but it took a lot of winning to get them there and they finished as Class 3A State Runner-Up. Ali doubled her sack count of 16 freshman year to 32 her sophomore season. She broke both the school records for QB Sacks and QB hurries, and tied the tackle for loss record. Finished her season with her first offer to play collegiate flag football, All-Big Bend First Team recognition, and All-State Second Team recognition. We love every stressful minute of watching her play. It was one heck of a sophomore season for our girl @ali.harllee 🐺 by @amyharllee

We’ve had a lot to celebrate over the last couple of weeks, and this young man graduating from FSU is certainly at the top. He has worked very hard to achieve a Behavioral Neuroscience Degree with a minor in Chemistry. To say we are proud of him would be an understatement. @colinharllee you have accomplished so much, and we know you will continue to bring the same commitment to success in your next chapter of life.
