Jackson Hole is fueled by a deep love for the mountains and an even deeper love for our pets. As the winter season at @jacksonhole winds down, we’re reminded that up on the slopes, some dogs do much more than play in the snow.

The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort avalanche dogs are vital members of our mountain community. Whether seasoned veterans or new to the team, these highly trained lifesavers brave the harshest conditions to watch over us. They spend their days making sure we enjoy our beautiful backyard safely.

These hardworking animals deserve the very best from us in return. When emergencies occur, quick and dependable access to veterinary care is critical at all hours of the day. The dogs who risk everything to keep us safe in the mountains need a community that supports them back.

Happy international women’s day! It’s so special spending time in the mountains with other women. We push each other to be our best selves, lift each other up when we need it and have an all-around good stinkin’ time! Just girly things 💅🏽
