POSTS STORIES REELS

So we’ve been keeping a little secret… 🤪💛💍

On the first night I met @shane_round , I said “I’m going to marry you day” somehow… I just knew.

We first got engaged on March 6th. Exactly 20 years since my mum passed away. A date that’s always been emotional for me, but Shane and my Dad somehow turned it into one of the happiest days of my life with family all there for the moment. 🤍

Shane proposed with his Nan’s ring that day, and today I got my actual ring… In Almeria, a place I have incredible childhood memories, especially with my Mum, definitely a birthday I’ll never forget 🥹. I wondered why he suddenly wanted to set up a photo on the beach 😆💛

What makes it even more special is Shane knew from the start I’d always want a ring from @jessicaflinnjewellery . The same company that made my mum’s ring, and people I’ve grown to adore over the years after working with them 🤍

So back in February he secretly started having one made for me the mad bugger 😭

Shane has helped me through more than he’ll ever know. He’s been the light I think I’ve always needed in life. I see a future I never thought possible. I’ve always put work first, it’s helped me build a crazy life but now… Now I get to share that with someone and build together instead of alone.

I can’t wait to marry my best friend. I love you so much, Shane.

More good gossip… We get married October 29th, 2026. That’s the day I become “Amy Louise Kilner-Round” 🤪

We don’t mess about. 😉

🤍💛💚 by @amyk_round

Today marks 20 years since my mum, Diane Kilner, passed away. Instead of writing something sad, I wanted to share 10 things she unknowingly taught me about life, because the older I get the more I realise how much of her is still here.

💜 1. Strength can be quiet. Even while ill for years, she never stopped showing love and kindness.

💜 2. Kindness is what people remember. Every story I hear about her starts with how kind she was.

💜 3. Creativity is a way of loving people. She made cards and thoughtful little things just to make people smile.

💜 4. Joy matters. She loved a party and always made Christmas magical for everyone around her.

💜 5. Family is everything. Her love for us still lives on through the memories people share.

💜 6. Real love means standing beside each other through hard times. That’s the love she and my dad had.

💜 7. Life continues. My brother Daniel exists because she kept fighting through difficult times, and I’m so proud of who he’s become.

💜 8. People never truly leave us. For 20 years I’ve been learning about her through stories and memories.

💜 9. A part of her is still here. She lives on through me and my brother.

💜 10. Life is meant to move forward. Yesterday my dad said something I never thought I’d hear:

“It’s time to look to the future and not the past.”

And I think that’s exactly what my mum would want too.

Life is about love, family, friendship, and the new life that continues long after we’re gone.

And in that way, she will always be with us. 🌻

Diane Kilner - what an icon 💜 by @amyk_round

One of the reasons I fell in love with this house and bought it last summer was because I’ve always dreamed of having a stair wall that’s basically a museum of my Pokémon card collection. A childhood dream… 🥹

What I didn’t really think about at the time… was the reality of hanging them while standing on a big ass ladder leaning on stairs 🫠 that and the fact they need to be secure, like really secure, any fall could damage the cards and their value 🤦‍♀️

Thankfully Shane has once again proved he is absolute husband material making this happen 🙊🥰 @shane_round

Girls - find a man who supports your slightly unhinged, nerdy childhood dreams, because seeing this vision finally come to life has made me ridiculously happy this fine Saturday. The frames have been sat gathering dusts for a long time whilst I’ve not been too well off work so to be out the other end feels incredible. 🥳

Collection / my future children’s inheritance (lol):
1999 ENGLISH FULL BASE SET 102/102 😭
1999 JAPANESE FULL JUNGLE SET 48/48 🌴
1999 ENGLISH BASE SET TRIO PSA 10 👀
1999 ENGLISH HOLO CHARIZARD 🔥
2001 JAPANESE FULL SOUTHERN ISLANDS SET 18/18 ☀️
2021 JAPANESE 25TH ANNIVERSARY HOLO TRIO PSA 10 🤯

And let’s not even start on what’s hiding in my folders… that’s a story for another day 🤣

Gotta catch em all ⚡️… I think I’ll just continue my Pikachu collection for a while now and reign it in 🤣

Walk down the aisle to a bit of dnb? Absolutely. @hybridmindsdnb 🫶

… Yes Mr Potato Head made the guest list.

Best day ever. 💛🌻 by @amyk_round

If you spotted a little gnome
perched up above our day,
there’s a very good reason
he was tucked away.

Mum once rang my grandma
from her hospital bed,
at three in the bloody morning,
a little off her head.

“MUM, THEY’RE EYA,” she told her,
convinced she could see
tiny little gnomes
running round the tree
from the window of her room

It’s one of those family stories
we still tell and laugh about,
so when it came to our wedding,
I couldn’t leave them out.

There he sat, in his sunflower hat,
with the best view of “I do”,
a little family joke
that brought a bit of you.

I wanted you there in the laughter,
in the silliness we share,
and that little gnome above us
felt like having you there.

You saw your little gnomes, Mum,
running round that tree.
So I borrowed one for our wedding,
to watch over Shane and me. 💛

Thank you so much to my Dad too, he brought her nurse badge for me to wear, then Mandy & Shane, they had a pic I put next to my heart and will treasure forever of her. by @amyk_round

29.10.26: The day I became Amy Louise Kilner-Round 💛

Well… we only went and got married 🥹🌻

White suit, yellow Converse, sunflowers everywhere and two dogs who absolutely thought the whole thing was all about them.

Very us 😂

Thank you SO much to everyone who came and filled our little wedding with so much love. Every hug, laugh, happy tear and bit of help getting us there meant everything. We adore u. 💛

You all know I’ve really struggled with every decision without my Mum. Planning a day like this without being able to ring her and ask what she thinks has been hard to put into words. She’d of helped with absolutely every little creative part I wanted to do, I managed to do a few bits in the end, I’m so glad I powered on through.

But she was there. In so, so many ways. Little things I’ll treasure forever, and moments where I just knew. We had our angels with us more than ever yesterday, both in person and those we couldn’t see but could absolutely feel. ✨

11:11. Your angel’s near.

Shane, I’d say “are you ready for love?” but you’ve married me now, so hopefully you’ve checked 😂💛

It’s all about you, me and this lovely little life we’re making. A bit of madness, a lot of music and someone to say “let me hold you” when it all gets a bit much. I reckon this one was written in the stars.

It’s 11:11 in Paris as I’m writing this, and we’re about to head to the airport to fly straight to TOKYO 🇯🇵✈️

New chapter, new name, new era. Same us, off on another adventure.

Still can’t believe I get to call you my husband, @shane_round , I’m officially a ROUND 💛🥹

Love, your WIFE 💛 by @amyk_round

My Dad’s favourite story whenever I’m worried about this dramatic era of my life: “When we met the surgeon after your big operation, I asked him if I needed to know anything for your future, any advice or things we need to know…”

Apparently the surgeon said “don’t spoil her”

😂😂😂😂

Big up @sheffchildrenshospitalcharity @sheffieldchildrens - I’m still going at 33, yes the annual MOT is apparently a thing but my other kidney has grown with me. They saved my life! 🫶 💛 by @amyk_round

New hair, new chapter… FINALLY 😂🧡💜

Big thank you to my soon to be sister in law Amy for gifting this & Kelly for being a fucking MAGICIAN. I’m so happy with it and feel way better than I have been recently getting a bit overwhelmed with everything going on but we’re so close and it’s all coming together now 🥹✨

This time next week we’ll be on a direct flight to TOKYO after our wedding night in PARIS waking up to the Eiffel Tower as our view 😭💍✈️

Ceremony, little gathering, straight to the airport!!! Very chaotic, very us. I’ve planned us the honeymoon of a god damn life time… 💛✨

Marrying my favourite geek and person on this planet in a few days I can’t wait, never thought I’d get bloody married let’s be honest, never thought I’d have to face some stuff I have done this year but it’s all happened for a reason right now I fully believe that.

“It’s time to start looking to the future not the past”

More colour, more dancing, more living 🪩🧡 (god help those karaoke bars in Tokyo)

I adore you, @shane_round 💚🧡💛 by @amyk_round

Time to admit I’m not okay, but you know what… that’s fine. 💛

The @officialfatboyslim Butlins gang have shown me why sharing matters. Last year, my posters helped me donate to @mindcharity . Today, I’m sharing what’s behind my smileys right here right now…

After years of misdiagnosis and 14 med combos, a specialist is helping me understand CPTSD, my late ADHD diagnosis and whether cyclothymia is in remission. It’s a lot to process.

This week’s final assessment left me really unwell, revisiting Mum becoming ill when I was 7, losing her at 12 and Dad being ill ever since. Finally - I’m getting the help I need and it’s not medication at the forefront 🫶✨💕

There was so much love around us. I went back to school within two weeks and couldn’t talk about it. Work became my safety net. Wedding decisions without Mum and a difficult retainer situation brought on panic attacks before sleep. Some memories feel physically painful.

Twenty years on, I’m finding space to grieve.

Talking therapies and mindfulness have made me feel worse. This video helps me communicate what I struggle to say: little me, memories, rabbit holes and smiley tape. Music and creativity have always been where I turn.

One day, I’d love to help others find what works for them, especially anyone with several labels who still feels misunderstood, or needs a more active, creative way to express themselves. People matter more to me than paperwork.

We’ve swapped the big wedding party for a tiny ceremony this month, then Tokyo because we’re HUGE nerds. I can’t wait to marry Shane and see where life takes us. 💛

Clients old and new, I’ll be in touch today. Tomorrow’s the last day for new bookings before my break. Back mid-November.

Creativity is my weapon of choice. This one is for my Mum, Diane Kilner - a nurse, my angel, and the woman who taught me to create my own Wonderland. 🌻

Can’t wait to cheer my very soon to be husband @shane_round on at @toughmudder today 🥹💛 He’s raised money for @alzheimerssoc in memory of his granny, and I’m so proud of him for taking on something tough to do something good.

Losing someone you love changes how you see life. You realise how precious the ordinary moments are… the laughs, the hugs, the little things you’d give anything to have again. We can’t always choose how much time we get together, but we can choose how we spend it, and how we carry someone’s memory forward.

Within a week of knowing each other, Shane and I kept noticing 11:11 and got matching tattoos of it. A little mad, very us 😂 It’s become a reminder to make this life count, love people properly and remember that love doesn’t disappear just because someone can’t physically be here.

Today, you’re carrying your granny’s memory through every muddy obstacle, doing something that could help another family. That’s a lovely thing, and I can’t wait to see you cross that finish line.

Go smash it, my favourite person on this planet. Your granny would be so proud of you… although however muddy you get, you’ll always be her “Golden Balls” 😂💛

I adore you 53VA 🌻 X by @amyk_round

Turns out I’ve been dressing for this car for years 😂💛

Bye bye Rangey life, wasn’t for me in the end 👋 back to the little TT I bloody loved zooming around in before it. Only this time… I think we’ve got the colour right. Little rave plate to match, naturally 🤣

If you swipe, you’ll notice a very subtle theme…

The yellow happy faces and chaos runs through everything I do because of what it means to me. Acid house, freedom, losing yourself in the music and finding your people. That feeling when a tune comes on and you look at your mate because you BOTH know. That’s the stuff 🙂

Mad to think an Eat Sleep Rave Repeat poster I made almost 10 years ago helped lead me into making visuals for the music I love. Silly really that one song could have such a big influence / mark a changing point in my life.

Now it’s on the walls, all over my clothes and apparently spilling onto the driveway. Never thought I’d be the kinda person with a personal set of branding but it seems to of happened gradually getting more out of hand by the day 😂

Eat. Sleep. Rave. Nip t’ Aldi. Repeat. 💛
