To make a good painting, you have to make a lot of bad paintings. 🎨
The messy ones, the awkward ones, the ones that don’t quite work....which can make me feel so shit about myself!!

I know.... they’re all part of the process...but push through is not always easy!

Keep making. Keep experimenting. Keep going.

BEING — Me, You, Them & Us

I’m inviting artists to be part of a curated group exhibition exploring the many ways we experience being human.

What does it mean to be you?
To belong. To connect. To change.
To carry the past while becoming someone new.

I’m interested in the things that shape us — our memories, relationships, cultures, places, emotions, contradictions and everyday experiences.

There is no single way to interpret BEING.
Bring your own perspective, language and way of seeing.

Perhaps we are not singular beings,
but fragments shaped in relation to one another.

Every face carries a story,
but also a trace of someone else—
someone who looked, touched, loved, left,
or simply passed through.

These portraits are not about capturing identity,
but the space between us.

None of this could’ve happened if I had given up after the AAF last year!

I was scared, nervous and unsure.
After no sales, I felt devastated and questioned everything.

But I came back anyway.
I showed up.
And slowly, I found my smile again. 🤍

Sometimes, the biggest win isn’t a sale.
It’s having the courage to keep going.

So grateful I came back.
