How to clip into your bike 🚴‍♀️✨

Remember guys, practice makes perfect. You’re probably not going to be amazing at it straight away and EVERYONE eats shit at some point lol (me included)

Remember:

1. Go somewhere quiet and just practice clipping in and out over and over.

2. When you’re about to take off, have your pedal in the power position (up and ready to push).

3. Push off hard first to gain momentum - more speed makes the bike feel way more stable. Then clip in your second foot once you’re rolling.

4. When coming to a stop, unclip earlier than you think you need to

Awesome morning spent riding the Spring Cycle in Sydney ☀️

My outdoor safety must haves + do’s 🏕️🥾☀️🌳

1. Offline maps / route downloaded
2. Tell someone where I’m heading and what my plan is
3. Phone + portable charger
4. Torch + spare batteries
5. Snake bite kit / basic first aid
6. Food / water (obvs)
6. Garmin inReach mini 3 plus @garminau

Being prepared + having my inReach on me, gives me the confidence to head out solo ☀️

Knowing I can message someone when I’m out of reception - whether I need a hand or just want to let them know I’m safe, it gives me peace of mind. And if there’s ever an emergency, I can activate SOS to get help.

Whenever I’m heading outdoors my moto is, I’d rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it 🤷‍♀️
