Just finished my second project and I’m quite pleased. I learned how to make a triangle square and then had the idea for a bag…sort of fumbled my way into a design and used an old scarf for the lining. Love the chevron! Even managed a pocket :) #crochet #handmade by @amylseefeldt

So good to be back in the mountains for a bit. Had one crystal clear morning and some truly glorious sunsets! “The world is charged with the grandeur of God.

What do you do with a day in Delhi? Humayun’s Tomb, of course! Beautiful as ever. I got a guide this time, a wonderful gentleman. I thought I knew a lot about this place, but I learned more! He shared that Hamida Begum ordered that palms from the sea and palms from the desert, and pines from the mountains and fruits from all over, be planted to show how fertile the land was….

I finally finished!!! Just in time for my nephew’s birthday on Wednesday. This turned out to be a much bigger project than I expected but I’m glad I stuck with it and I’m particularly proud of figuring out that I could use the joining process to outline Mario. Finally ready to start joining these squares. I was making pixel art with my Mario-obsessed 6 year old nephew a couple months ago when I realised that granny squares could also be pixels and ta-daa, a birthday present idea was born! I’ve never joined granny squares so cross your fingers for me!!
