POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What an honour & a privilege to be a part of such an historic day in our beautiful City of Hull.

When I was asked to be the voice of the Rugby League World Club Challenge ball relay I jumped at the chance to share this special day with so many incredible people.

We carried that match ball with love from the East of the city at Craven Park all the way over to the West at the MKM stadium.
My heart is full.

The pride, the passion, the emotion….and then …that result 😭 it’s what dreams and Hollywood scripts are made of 🤩

I will treasure those memories and conversations for the rest of my life.

I’ve realised this week that it’s a year since I started working ont Radio. 📻 😬 Time really does blooming fly when you’re having fun.

My first ever shift was 11th May 2024.. Eurovision! So I’m super chuffed that it’s a full circle moment & I’m back doing this year’s Eurovision Saturday afternoon too. 🪩

Join me if you can 2-5pm on BBC Radio Humberside. Listen anywhere on BBC Sounds. ✌🏻 🥳✨💃🏻 taken in BBC Humberside by @amyltommo

Our Amy says ‘don’t forget your rat guide’

It’s going to be another sunny weekend, so if you’re planning to go see some @amischiefofrats2025 sculptures, pick up your guide from the pod on Paragon Station and learn some of @amyltommo’s rat facts. taken in Kingston upon Hull by @amyltommo

Getting up at 4.45am is JOYOUS when I get to do this.

From as long as I can remember I have been OBSESSED with music. Whether it was singing into my hair brush, dancing in front of the telly at TOTP or racing (and I mean Olympic sprinting) from the tea table over to the radio to press record on the song I NEEDED more than life for my current mixtape….with my poor Mum in the background telling me* (screaming at me) to GET BACK SAT DOWN! EVERY. TIME. 😬🤣 (Soz Mum 😬🥰)

I also LOVE talking to people and getting to ask them about their life & stuff. I’m inquisitive* (nosey) you see.

Now I’m actually getting to play at the beautiful art that is radio.
