Hold My Hand, Caellum. 💙🪽
Hold my hand, my sweet boy,
Just like you did when you were little.
I would give anything to feel your fingers wrapped around mine one more time.
I know I can’t see you anymore, but I hope you’re still walking beside me.
On the days when my heart feels too heavy, when the tears won’t stop falling, and when the world feels so unfair, I whisper your name and wish you could reach for my hand.
You were my little boy, my best friend, my whole world. You loved me unconditionally, through every high and low. It was always you and me, Caellum. Our bond was unbreakable, and not even death can take that away.
I spent 12 years holding your hand, guiding you, protecting you, and loving you with everything I had.
Now I need you to hold mine, my boy.
Walk beside me when I’m struggling. Give me strength when I feel weak. Remind me of your beautiful smile, your contagious laugh, and that wild spirit that made you so incredibly special.
Because no matter how many years pass, I will always be your mom, and you will always be my baby.
Until the day I can hold your hand again, I’ll carry you in my heart with every step I take.

Pretty incredible way to honour my boy. 🥹💙🪽 Fly high kiddo I miss you and love you buddy.

There truly are some incredible people in this world. 💙

One of the Blue Angels honoured my boy, Caellum, by taking him along for a flight. Growing up, I took Caellum to every airshow in Cold Lake, AB and he absolutely loved them. Anyone who knew him knew his love for speed—the faster and louder, the better.
He would have thought this was the coolest thing ever. I can just imagine that huge smile on his face, flying high and loving every second. ✈️🪽💙

For Caellum. #14, always. 💙

His mom will always be his mom. His friends will always be his friends. And wherever they go, they carry their love for him with them.

This set was created with his family to honour the hockey-loving boy behind #14. The heart, the sticks and wings, and the words “one day at a time” each hold a piece of his story.

Seeing his mom and friends wear it is something I’ll hold close. My hope is that these pieces bring them a little comfort and help keep Caellum’s memory present in the rinks, in their everyday moments, and everywhere life takes them.

Two months without you, my boy. 💔 Caellum Macleod
Two months since I last held you, heard your voice, saw your smile, or got one of your hugs. Two months of waking up and having to remind myself that this is real—that you’re not coming home.
Caellum, I miss you in every single moment. I miss your laugh, your jokes, your wild spirit, your sweet face, and the way you could light up a room just by being you. I miss our talks. I miss your snuggles. I miss being your mom.
People say time will make it easier, but right now, two months feels like two lifetimes without you. My heart is still trying to understand how I’m supposed to live in a world that doesn't have you in it.
I hope you can see how deeply you are loved. I hope you see all the people who continue to carry your name, your memories, and your beautiful spirit with them. You will never be forgotten, my boy. Not for one second.
I would give anything for one more hug, one more laugh, one more “I got you, Mom.” ❤️

Today I went golfing with the girls for you, Caellum. We wore jerseys for you, we brought your picture along. we played your favourite songs. Caellum loved golf, he loved happy Gilmore. He won this jersey last year at Hockey provincials playing golf simulation with the boys. God, I miss you so much.
I feel like I’m just surviving day by day. Waking up, going through the motions.
I’m sad, I lost my entire world the day you died. I I try to keep going and do the things you loved but God it is hard. I miss you so much Caellum. ⛳️💙 #LLCM by @amymacleod28

Caellum, today would have been your first day of grade 8. The first of so many hard days without you, my boy. I don’t have those first-day-of-school photos to share. I don’t get to kiss you goodbye, tell you I love you, or wish you a good day.

Seeing your friends head back without you breaks my heart for them too. Seeing them wear blue in your honour today means more than they’ll ever know. 💙

I’d give anything for those simple moments back—to see your smile, hear your voice, and watch you walk through that school door.
