Another memorable @tdsenduro, this time winning the ebike class! After many years/times analoguing up the climb line here, I came to the dark side and thoroughly enjoyed having a motor this year on such a sweet bike. The change from not training and less racing has been difflcult at times, but I’m so glad I was able to be back at the best event with all my favorite people again!

There were lots of highs and lows this year. I tore my achilles and spent a lot of time rehabbing, then came back to win Nationals and had a great race season. I married my best friend, and we recently found out we were expecting a baby girl in June, but we lost the pregnancy.

I was hesitant to share, but it’s been a big part of my life lately and has been a hard loss that I know I’m not alone in going through. I had reached the 13-week mark of pregnancy, and after weeks of fatigue and fear surrounding the miscarriage statistics, I thought we had made it into the safe zone. However, an ultrasound that I thought would just be for reassurance showed there was no longer a heartbeat. The baby had stopped growing around 11 weeks.

I know time will make this feel like a small bump in the road, and for now, I’m thankful to have good support and bikes to keep me moving forward ❤️ by @amymo_11

If you’re not already familiar with professional enduro athlete Amy Johnsen (Morrison) @amymo_11 , give her a follow! Originally from Michigan and riding Tahoe trails since 2013, Amy has become nothing short of iconic—the queen of Toad’s and an absolute force on any course.

Amy recently joined us at a TAMBA event, where she shared why Tahoe holds her heart: it’s “unlike any other place you ride in the world.” Between the chunky, loose, fast trails and those big-lake, big-view moments, Tahoe offers something truly special—and we thank Amy for reminding us of that magic.

We’re incredibly grateful to have such a talented, kind, and community-minded rider in our TAMBA community. Watching Amy chase big goals and push the sport is a privilege, and we cannot wait to see what she does next.

Thank you, Amy, for inspiring TAMBA riders and the next generation of mountain bikers. ✨
