Whenever I express stress in life, friends, and family are always there to remind me that I didn’t need to take in that foster dog or that foster litter, that maybe my hospital doesn’t need Childhood Cancer Awareness tshirts that year … that I need to relax and take more time for myself.
But if not me, then who? (and I do so little compared to so many amazing volunteers I know personally)
Everyone in this world can help a little more… And in doing so, the people who utterly exhaust themselves doing everything and sacrificing their own personal lives, would have time to breathe.
Or help even more. This post spoke loudly to me. We can all give, we can all help each other more, and that is more important than anything else we will ever achieve in life.

Seriously. Stop. Men: be better. Women run the world. We don’t demand credit, but behind the scenes, we are playing 4-D chess managing everyone’s lives without recognition. And we bite our tongues when the most outspoken of us run for office but are bypassed because “women are too emotional”. You have no idea. And you visit sites like this. Goddamnit. Theodore: loves to remove squeakers. Started going in from the ear then realized he could not easily access the “fun sound box” that way. So pivoted. Is this not a precision surgical cut? He scares me sometimes…
Also, we would love a cardiologist’s income in the house, so if only he was human…. by @amyncranston

We don’t know celebrities personally, so why does this hurt so much? Maybe because he was an iconic director who made the movies that touched the deepest spot in our hearts… And on top of that, he was an actor, whose warmth and humour acted on the screen, made us think we knew him as a close, dear friend. And in all reports that have come out since he was murdered, are that he was 100% that magical man we always thought he was. I listened to a podcast tonight about the case and one of the lawyers on it who was there as a legal analyst, spoke about going to law school at UCLA and sitting in a diner one afternoon, a poor student with little money, sitting for hours at a table, covered in textbooks and notes. He noticed Rob Reiner come in and have a lunch at a table nearby. They didn’t speak to each other. At some point, Rob Reiner left. This legal analyst said that he asked the waitress for his bill and she told him that it had already been paid for by Mr. Reiner. 💗 by @amyncranston
