Today, my sweet Zoe is 6 months old. 🤍
These past six months have shown me just how intentional God is.
When I found out I was pregnant, I was in one of the most demanding seasons of my life. I was scared, anxious, and constantly reminded of how impossible it would be to balance motherhood and medicine. I was told it would be incredibly hard, especially without family nearby. No mom. No mother-in-law. No village.
But God knew exactly what I needed.
He gave me you.
The sweetest, calmest, most easygoing little girl. Sometimes I look at you and wonder if you somehow knew Mommy was already carrying so much, because not once have you added to my burden. Instead, you’ve been my peace. My joy after long days. My reminder that God’s grace is always enough.
You’ve made this season so much sweeter than I ever imagined. Watching you smile, grow, and discover the world has been the greatest privilege of my life.
Zoe, I love you with every single part of my soul. If I could choose a million times over, I would choose you every single time.

Today I celebrate my very first Mother’s Day 🤍

Last year, I was carrying you…I wondered what you would look like, what your cry would sound like, and what it would feel like to finally be called mom.
And now you’re here.

Becoming a mother has changed me in the most beautiful way. Now I know what it means to stay up all night just to watch you sleep. To feel my heart melt at the sound of your little voice. To realize that someone so small can hold so much of my heart. Suddenly my world has a new purpose, a new joy, and a love deeper than anything I’ve ever known.

Motherhood is exhausting, beautiful, overwhelming, and magical all at once. And somehow, every single moment is worth it.

To my precious daughter @zoezoe.gram , thank you for making me a mommy. Being yours is my greatest honor and the most beautiful role I will ever have. 💕

After 9 whole months of waiting, wondering, praying and counting every single day…we finally get to meet you.
Nine months of feeling your kicks, talking to you in quiet moments, imagining your face, and loving you before we ever laid eyes on you. Because you, our sweet @zoezoe.gram made it all worth it.
You are our answered prayer. Our miracle. Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for the light you have brought into our family. Thank you for making us parents to you.
