If your hair isn’t looking or feeling how it’s supposed to you probably aren’t doing your wash day correctly! 🫧 Here’s my 8 step wash day routine! ↓ ↓ ↓

Step 1: fully saturate hair – I like to rinse out as much buildup that I can and the water helps the shampoos get to going faster.
Step 2: clarifying shampoo – omg I skipped this step for so many years and kept frizzy curls that didn’t take other products well. Turns out I still had products built up on my scalp and oils/grease all in my hair. I do this once a month using @cecred
Step 3: shampoo – now I go in with my shampoo of choice for this wash depending on what my hair needs & what I plan on doing to it after washing. Today I used @redkenpro
Step 4: condition – gotta add some hydration back into my hair ofc. Using Redken again.. (sn: a dime size amount ain’t evaaa make the cut around here🤨)
Step 5: detangle – I will never not detangle while my conditioner sits for its 2-5 minutes. This is the most perfect time imo. The conditioner provides great slip= less breakage!
Step 6: hair mask – this @matrix hair mask is perfect for every wash day. Makes sure my hair is soft & extra hydrated because it is hotttt and humid out here.
Step 7: leave-in – @amika for the win always. This step locks in all the moisture, helps detangle, & fights frizz! It makes me feel like my strands are just always protected and super soft (the smell is just a plus😛)
