Meet my little family 🥹🐾

In 2018 when I was driving home from the gym at 2am down backroads, I saw a tiny black kitten crossing the road.

I immediately pulled over, hopped out of the truck and started meowing at the bushes until he felt safe enough to come to me..

then finally, he came to me. I picked him up and I brought him in the truck and he cried the whole way home.

My mom prepared him a little crate for the night
and in the morning my parents decided to let me keep him.

Ever since that day, he has been my best friend and soulmate.

I named him Jasper 🩵

For a little bit, I was in and out of the picture while I was travelling, au pairing and building my business and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out moving him here with me on but it took me time for me to be ready to, not only “settle down” but also to find a place that I wanted to call home where I could bring him to.

In 2022 I au paired for a family here on the island and I always told them how their house was my DREAM home…

At the end of 2024… I found out they’d be renting out their house and I asked if I could rent their house with some of my girlfriends and if I could bring Jasper….They said YES 🥹❤️

Jasper was a brave boy and flew across Canada with me to his forever home on our little island paradise and since we moved in, he is a whole new boy and he’s been absolutely THRIVING.

In December I was starting to feel the nudge to get Jasper a little friend and I’ve always wanted a little ragdoll…

On December 26th, my Dad passed sadly..

I put it out there to him to help send me the perfect sibling for Jasper.

Not only did he send me the perfect kitten.. but I found out after finding her that she was born the day he died.

So of course I named her Pepsi, my dads favourite drink, to honour him🕊️

I have never been more happy and grateful.. it took years to get to this place but having my babies and living in my dream home feels like coming up for fresh air after years of travelling all over and having no one to really call home.

5 years ago I had a dream of travelling the world and making money through my travel content

I was working full-time retail and living pay-check to pay-check, making just above minimum wage and was limited with the amount of vacation time I could request off…

So the chances of me staying in that job and being able to go off and travel the way I would want to, with time ⏳ and financial 💰 flexibility, were slim to none.

I’ve looked into/tried different ways to make an income that would support my travels

▫️Low ticket network marketing
▫️Drop-shipping
▫️Brand deals/collaborations
▫️AuPairing
▫️Work-away
▫️Resort Contracts

And the thing I found in common with these, was that I was still lacking either time or financial freedom.

I was putting in a LOT of work for not as much pay.

And although some of these opportunities were giving me a place to stay for cheaper, id be signing contracts and not having the freedom to be spontaneous.

Yes, I was getting out there, but I also found myself feeling lost and stressed at times with having to quickly figure out what my next job would be and how to keep funding my adventures because at the end of the day, I just wasn’t making enough money.

It was also stressful for me, as someone who eventually wants to start a family and buy property… so reality set in really quick and I knew I’d need a way to create my own freedom,

And I FINALLY found THEE vehicle that would build me the kind of freedom that would allow me to

✈️ Travel wherever/whenever
💰 Not worry about prices and always be on budget mode
📱 Have automation set up so I don’t need to be online all the time
⏳ Have more time freedom to enjoy my travels

Guys this business model has literally changed my LIFE as a travel lover and I wont gatekeep this!!

THIS is what I always dreamt for myself

5 years ago when I was dreaming about what my ideal day looked like- it was never about material things, it was being with good company around a fire and truly being happy…

This was a moment where I felt like I ‘made it’

Do I have bigger dreams and goals from here? Totally.

But learning to be present, enjoy where I’m at and to surround myself with people who light a spark in me has been most important to me… and in that sense, I’ve definitely made it..
