REAL ESTATE LESSON FROM A RECENT CLOSING

My sellers created a beautiful four-bedroom home with plans for a dedicated laundry room. After a long renovation, they were DONE, and the laundry room was never fully completed.

Before listing, I recommended installing the washer and dryer. They decided against it.

In the end, it became an important part of getting the deal done.

The lesson? Sometimes the seemingly small things matter to buyers, especially at a certain price point.

On paper, this apartment looked too small for what my buyers wanted.

We almost didn’t go see it.

Listing photos tell a story, but they never tell the complete story. They show you dimensions and angles, but they can’t show you how a space actually feels when you walk in the door.

The moment we stepped inside, the checklist shifted.

Floor-to-ceiling windows. Gaggenau appliances. Gorgeous marble and thoughtful design throughout where no detail was overlooked. The quality of the space immediately outweighed what was on paper.

That is why I always tell my clients: you have to go see the space in person. What looks like a compromise on a screen often turns out to be the exact right home.

Our first Visiting Day was in 2017, and our last is today.
Thank you, Camp Modin, for giving our girls a foundation that has helped shape who they are.
From lifelong friendships to fresh Maine air, swimming in the lake (fish and all! 🐟), campfires, traditions, and memories that will last forever... we are so grateful.

Incredibly grateful for this girls trip to Italy. ❤️

My Mia,
I am so incredibly proud of you. Congratulations on your graduation from ECFS.
I don’t think I fully appreciated the Ethical Culture Fieldston School community until these last few weeks. It started with Dad and me following the lacrosse team to every game, home and away, and not wanting to miss a minute of another incredible season. Watching your enthusiasm, whether you were on the field or cheering from the sidelines, was something special. The sisterhood was impossible not to feel, and having Zoe on the sidelines as part of the cheering squad and the team was really cool for us to see too.
The events leading up to graduation were all incredible and gave us more glimpses into the day to day experience you had at Fieldston. Listening to your peers speak about what it meant to be part of this community, the friendships, the bonds, and the support they found in one another, brought everything together for us.
What stands out most is not only all that you accomplished, but the kind of person you have become: loyal, compassionate, confident, and deeply connected to the people around you. You have built friendships and memories that will stay with you for life, and we feel so lucky to have watched it all unfold.
The tears are okay. This chapter was such a meaningful part of your life. But I also want you to remember that there is a new chapter ahead that will be just as exciting. Your ECFS experience will always be part of you and part of your story, and the friendships you built there will continue with you too. It will look different, but the connection, love, and shared history will always be there.
I am endlessly proud of you and so excited for everything ahead.

Lucky #13 🍀

Grateful to be ranked #13 at Douglas Elliman this month. Especially in a market that continues to keep everyone on their toes.

What I love most about this business aside from the relationships I form with my clients is that no two deals are ever the same. Every client, every apartment, every negotiation comes with its own story, challenges, and opportunities. Helping people navigate those moments is what makes this work so rewarding.

My business has always been built through relationships, trust, and referrals, and I never take that support for granted. Thank you to everyone who continues to think of me, introduce me, and trust me with such important decisions.
