12 years. Thats the longest I’ve ever lived with one person. My person.

When I was little I would look at other families, with a mom and dad, a happy life, and think “that’s for the lucky ones.”

I prayed that maybe one day I could have what they had.
Nothing glamorous. Nothing crazy.
Just normalcy and peace.

And I know God answered that prayer when he sent me you.

You’ve led me, protected me and pushed me to the feet of Jesus.

12 years, 3 children and 1 beautiful, simple life.

I know it was Jesus.
But He used you to do it.
Thank you for doing life with me.

Last year there was a shift in the air. And ever since then, there is an urgency.

Because everyday I pray more would come to know him, and I also pray that he would please come back.

The answer is stronger Christianity. Not *just* pushing back against symptoms.

Christians are obsessing over the threat outside the church while ignoring the one Jesus warned about inside it.

Islam is a serious theological challenge. But lukewarm, compromised Christianity is an internal danger Jesus directly warned the church about.

Thats why I talk stress so much about how to ACTUALLY live on fire for the Lord. Thats how we will really fight back. By unapologetically living for him. Not simply trying to fix symptoms.

I always said I would never cry on the internet but these are happy tears so it doesn’t count 😂

God may have had another path for me when I prayed for a warm home with a safe mom and dad.

But he covered me. He protected me when I didn’t know he was there. And he gave that childhood to my children.

Generational curses run in the family until they run in to Him. by @amyymain
