Installation in situ, 2025
[ Photography by @les_cliches_de_flo_ ]
It all began with a walk. A wander bounded by a Bordeaux construction site. During my visit, only the garbage left its mark on me. They were like my only landmarks, like cardinals. So I created a map of the building site, using the garbage I'd collected.
Let's face it, if this installation goes ahead, I know it will be considered "giant garbage" by some people. So, frequent visitors to the site would risk damaging it, or adding to it by leaving new objects on it, beside it, under it...
The aim is to raise awareness of the impact of waste left in the wild, by creating a map of the area that evolves with each visit.
_______________
