To think that 3 years ago I couldn’t make it through an entire shower standing up and couldn’t physically hold my arms above my head for more than a few minutes without feeling exhausted. Now 3 years later, I’m a HYROX FINISHER.

Years of overuse from sports without proper strength training, followed by a complete stop in movement, and grief destroyed my body. Countless doctor’s appointments, wearing a back brace to walk, and physical therapy trying to figure out what was wrong and eventually I realized I needed to do my own research and figure out what works for my body.

A looootttt of trial and error with nutrition, strength training, and learning how to listen to my body helped me build enough muscle to get through daily activities and eventually fall in love with working out.

Proud of how far my body has come, and even more grateful that I got to experience this with my sister. Especially considering we decided to do this so last minute lol. #GoBTeam
