"Hi there! My name is Valentina and I am from Sardinia, Italy. Why do I shoot film? I guess I just like the slow process, I care less about seeing the final image and that’s a win for a control freak like me. It forces me to settle and slow down."

"I used to stick my camera in the car just in case I come across something by chance. For this shot in particular, it was a sunny day in December and we were on a drive in the west coast of the island."

"I intended to capture the solar power and the golden tones on the surface of the sea. It was shot with a Canon AE-1 and I used Kodak Gold 200, my go to film stock."
