So surreal to finally be a part of the vision. Seeing how this visual came to life will always be so inspiring to me. So thankful for the creative team and all the beautiful dancers🤍

Growing up, dance was always something I had to search for and fight for a little bit. I come from a multicultural background and moved around a lot, so I wasn’t raised in an environment where dance opportunities were always easily accessible or where pursuing dance seriously felt obvious. Because of that, a lot of my journey came from personal drive, curiosity and putting myself out there even when I felt behind.

Moving to the Netherlands changed a lot for me. It was the first time I truly felt surrounded by people who pushed me creatively and inspired me to train at a higher level. Over the past years, I’ve invested so much of my time, energy and money into growing as a dancer, training consistently, exploring different styles and developing my own movement quality.

This year especially, I made it a goal not only to train more, but to start creating and sharing more of my own art. I started focusing more on choreography and teaching because I realized I genuinely love creating spaces where people can connect through movement and music. I think dance is one of the most honest forms of expression and I want to contribute to that in my own way.

Teaching at Empire Dance Camp would honestly mean a lot to me because it would be an opportunity to keep growing while also exchanging energy with others🤍🫂🪽
