Hey everyone! ☕🌱 Dropping something a little different today.

Welcome to the official launch of my new Beyond the Code series! I’ve been experimenting with a completely new visual style for my content lately—something warmer, slower, and a bit more minimal. I really wanted these videos to feel like a cozy, real chat over a cup of tea, completely skipping the usual loud tech hype.
For this first episode, I wanted to bust a massive myth we all fall for: the idea that cracking a global ecosystem like Google Summer of Code is only about writing flawless code.

Don't get me wrong, coding matters! But it’s honestly just one piece of the puzzle. Google is looking for global collaborators, not just coding machines. Your communication skills, your ability to navigate absolute ambiguity, and your willingness to independently dive into documentation matter just as much as your tech stack.
Which brings us to the heart of Episode 01: Patience.
We’ve all had those frustrating days where pull requests sit unmerged, environment setups break, and it feels like everyone else on your timeline is flying ahead while you’re standing completely still. It’s a tough headspace to be in, but I’ve realized that those quiet delays aren't setbacks—they are just preparation for the bigger steps ahead. The tech journey is as much about building your resilience as it is about building a project.

This was the very first video in my Google Summer of Code journey. And today, I'm finally sharing it-not because it's perfect, but because every meaningful journey deserves an honest beginning.

Since last year, it stayed in my personal vault. I never hit publish because I wanted to wait until I had a story worth telling. Looking back now, it's interesting to see where it all began. I’ve officially cracked Google Summer of Code 2026! with OWASP® Foundation under OWASP BLT✨
It might seem like just another program to some, but for me, this is a dream coming true-a journey of collecting broken pieces, holding them together, and building something completely new.

I met incredible people in the organization. To our Lead Project Maintainer, Thanks to him. Every single step I have taken in this organization was only possible because of your support. If you hadn't been there, I wouldn't have reached this level of excellence.

This win is not mine alone. It belongs to the incredible people who believed in me, my parents, and my friends. I am endlessly humbled and grateful to every energy out there that helped make this dream a reality.
