From They Might Be Giants: “Science is Real” or Jesse from Breaking Bad, “Science Bitch” - I believe in it. This morning I got my flu and covid shots in one arm and 1st shingles and phenomena in the other. I may feel it tomorrow.

I’ve had influenza and covid, if they can be prevented, sign me up. Can I still get them after getting vaccinated, yes. It’s a prediction in the medical field.

We went to Benson First Friday last night. Something sat with me, in a good way. Virtuoso Pizzeria was calling our name. The line was long to get in. In front of us was a lady with a child in a wheelchair. She was asking about seating, which is pretty nonexistent because it’s always busy on Benson First Friday. In the window was the owner. I told her to knock on it and talk to the owner, which was right there. She looked back at me and said, “Thank You!” I told her my sister has two in wheelchairs. She’s like, “Two?!” I’m like, “Yep.” Then she skipped the line and was seated. Then they gave her an upgrade on her pizza. 🍕 it’s business like this that deserve a shoutout! taken in Virtuoso Pizzeria by David Losole by @anapeladay

When individuals feel good about making others small, I think about how they are so weak. They will do everything in their power to push people down because it makes them feel good. That’s toxic, and shouldn’t be allowed in a healthy work environment. The fact that others put up with that kind of behavior and befriend people like this is the so sad. It’s not ok in school or work.

No it’s not ok that Karen bashed someone in front of her team, that she sends demanding emails, is bossy, and complains about her coworker when he’s not around. None of that is ok. Pick up your pieces Karen because that type of behavior looks bad on anyone. https://lnkd.in/gK7QbAM9

Bosses, managers and other leaders stand up to people like this. Everyone should feel free to have a voice. Having an office bully shouldn’t be tolerated. No one should put down a person and walk away with a smile on their face. by @anapeladay

Four of these came in the mail. I’m so thankful not a damn thing changed with mail in ballots. there’s four reasons I love #MailInBallots 1. It’s easier with my college aged sons. We can go to them or they can come to us. 2. We all research the candidates. 3. No going anywhere to vote. 4. People that are sick can vote. This is really important to me because when my mom was really sick on hospice, she was able to vote.

I hope things run smoothly on election night! No pop up wars, no ICE heavily on the streets, no interference from Russia, Israel or an AI bot. by @anapeladay

I’ve had three leopard geckos, and this one chirps the most. It’s not from pain or stress, it’s just a noise he makes. Maybe he’s excited to get out of his tank. No clue. by @anapeladay
