While traveling to Chicago and back, to Milwaukee and Pittsburgh and back, several times this Summer, I saw a lot of midwestern landscapes I so dearly love.

I’ve been enjoying painting these.

Hello Milwaukee!

Thank you for coffee @anodynecoffee
and for breakfast at @trerivalirestaurant which is right across from my booth # 95.5 in the Third Ward at the Third Ward Arts Festival for my last stop of the season in Wisconsin and my last show of the season with @amdurproductions

It has been a pleasure working with their team.

I will be here from 10-5pm today and tomorrow.

I delivered a piece to a residence in Chicago on the way up and I’ll be delivering a piece to a residence in Chicago on the way home.

Send good vibes to our dear Werner as he has faithfully dedicated his time this summer to a worthy yet intensely rigorous cause where struggle takes precedent over efficient planning and design for much of our time.

Great patience and surrender is required.

All experiential wisdom gained by this grand experiment will be considered to their depth in the rare downtime on the horizon for next moves that strengthen this pursuit that is, very gratefully, my career.

My final art fair of the season will be @afairinthepark 9/11-9/13 in Pittsburgh.
This will be my third year at this fair it in by the @thecraftsmensguildofpittsburgh and it is in beautiful Mellon Park in the Shadyside of Pittsburgh, PA. by @anarcanum

The rain has lifted, the sun is here and here I am on the last day of the Port Clinton Art Festival in Highland Park, Chicago - my third of four @amdurproductions events.

I will be at the Third Ward Art Fair in Milwaukee, WI next weekend, and then at A Fair in the Park in Mellon Park in Pittsburgh, PA the second weekend in September.

After that, I’m going to take a little break and settle in with my kiddos so we can lock down our new routine for the school year.

Emma is starting high school and has joined cross country. It won’t be long before she starts driver’s ed!

Josephine starts 5th grade with a new teacher and is playing soccer and has new glasses!

I am looking at teaching a couple drawing classes in November and have two commissions to work on when my art fair season closes for the fall.

In addition to all of that, I have my sights set on a few long awaited home improvements throughout this fall/winter.

Should I get into a couple of top tier Florida shows for January/February/March, I will most likely go.

Please come see me at my remaining shows should you be in the area.

Reach out if you need any artwork.
I do commissions and studio visits.

I had the good fortune of keeping company with @curt_mark who introduced me to my assistant, Werner.

If it were not for Werner’s assistance, I would most likely be significantly more worn for the wear from the repetitive impact of this process.

I am deeply grateful for his investment in my career as an artist in this life transition elevation. by @anarcanum
