Just occurred to me that I hadn't posted yet about our car we debuted this year at burning Man. She's called Drakasha. It's probably the biggest art that I've ever been build lead for on playa and I'm pretty damn proud of how things turned out.

On my way to build out our first JunXion Campout festival. I had to pull over and check out this tree. Epic. 15 miles to gooo nowww and I can hear my baby calling my naaaame @junxionnyc

I know I've still got some homies in upstate New York... This gathering is only like 30 min from the Woodstock grounds which I just passed by... Come thru!

Today the family and I are laying my mother down into her final resting place. She lived a long full life with nothing left unfinished. Mother to four. Grandmother to eight. Great grandmother to seven and counting. Wife to my father for 65 years.

Barbara Barker was the matriarch of my family. She was poised. She was observant. She had a sharp wit and a delicate grace. She was everyone's first call whether the news was good or bad. She was the first one to cheer us on in success and the first one to put us in check when we got out of line. My dad will be the first to tell you that we all would've been lost without her. Every member of the family has always agreed wholeheartedly with that assessment.

After winning prom queen and marrying her high school sweetheart she got straight to work and had three daughters by age 22. The home she made of our house in Madison Connecticut became the headquarters of the Barker family and it still is to this day. Wherever life took the rest of us we could always count on the fact that she would be there by the phone to answer our calls. Ready and willing to listen and to dole out her sage wisdom. Whatever was going on otherwise, we were blessed to know that Mom was there on Hamilton Drive with a hot meal and a warm bed ready for us.

After raising her three daughters into thriving adulthood... just as they were preparing to start families of their own... she suddenly found out that she HADNT started menopause... she was actually pregnant with me... in her mid forties. If you know me at all then you can imagine what an absolute handful I was my entire childhood (etc). She was so patient with me. She was a generation older than all my friend's parents but she made sure I never felt like an accident or a burden. She gave up what should have been the relaxing second half of her life to do it all over again. She sewed my clothes and cooked me every meal and she packed us to go on cross country camping trips. By the time I was through high school we had driven through 38 states. Just like she had for my sisters when she was a younger woman. She showed up for all my games and sat in the audience at all my shows. She was a full-time by @anarchy_nyc

Just built these neat forced perspective stairs here at Electric Forest. This was actually quite a challenge and I'm pretty stoked how they turned out. Can't wait to see this stage getting activated. It's tucked inside a really cool hedge maze that's got a bunch of wild things to find throughout it. The entrance of the maze features a really rad lady centaur that our crew built also. More pics to come by @anarchy_nyc
