School supplies drive and distribution!✏️🚌📚

@anarchyinbedrok recently hosted a school drive event at @strangewaysbar and asked if we would like to be involved. 🥹

We’re so honored to see the community starting these types of drives and happy to help anyway we can! Let’s do it for the kids! Let’s make them feel special and loved.

So here’s the deal:

🚌 Saturday, August 22nd at noon until 1pm(ish) or until supplies last, we’ll be at the pantry giving out these supplies and school lunch snacks.

✏️Bring your kids so they can pick out a fun backpack and all there supplies.

You don’t have to bring a kid to receive supplies, this is for anyone needing them for back to school. However, it is geared towards more young kids and teenager age school supplies.

🍏We’ll have snacks for people to grab for school lunches as well. But we’ll need help getting them!

🎓How can you help!? ⬇️⬇️

We still need more supplies and we really need school lunch snacks.

These snacks will be held until the day of the event 8/22 to be given out. We hope that kids can grab a backpack, supplies, and their favorite snacks to take to school.

Use the QR code to shop our back to school drive wishlist! If you’re local and want to drop off supplies DM us so we can make sure it goes to this event and not just directly into the pantry.

Never participated in a back to school drive let alone hosted one. Figured there's nothing to it but to do it so let's jump in.

A modest goal of filling 25 backpacks has been set, and now that the backpacks are here, I am asking for help getting them filled. Posting a note on the fridge at work was the move, and now I'm tapped for ideas. Can I come post a note up at your work?

Here is the updated list from the local Everett Elementary school I attended back in the day, just to give you an idea of what types of things students need for class this Fall.

It would be EXCEPTIONALLY awesome of anyone seeing this to donate or just come check out the noise for funsies.
