POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Dear Prairie View,

There’s no place like home, and this truly became my home. Four years ago, I never would have imagined earning so many opportunities, gaining the bonds I’m leaving with, facing challenges that shaped me into the woman I am today, and most importantly making memories I’ll never forget. I’m so glad I chose PV-U.

“To be a good Zeta is to be a well-informed Zeta.”

To Sw33t ReZurgence: Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, through every moment—no matter what—I see a sisterhood. My forever sisters, y’all have shown me so much about myself in such a short amount of time, allowing me to cry, smile, and be myself, always surrounding me with support. I thank God for that. As someone who grew up with only two brothers, I’ve always prayed for sisters, and I was truly blessed with you all.

To my mother: The finest woman to ever exist in my eyes. You are my twin, my heart, my biggest role model, and the epitome of a true Zeta. I appreciate you for paving the way to Finer Womanhood. From going to Martin Luther King Jr. walks with you as a young girl, seeing you shop for blankets and food, giving to the homeless, and being a mother of three while serving in the United States Army as an OR Nurse—you have shown me what true acts of service look like throughout my entire life, and I thank you for that. Blue runs in my blood, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

To Shugg, Ayana, Esco, and Kayla: Thank you for coming before me and leading the way. Y’all are the best prophytes I could ever ask for. I appreciate all the long calls, the space to vent, the questions you always answered, and the reassurance that I was never anything less than a sister, regardless of experience within the organization. Y’all are truly great big sisters.

As always: Stay Smooth & Stay Dominant,

Anashia McMillan
