The Seven Sutherland Sisters were a singing group from Lockport, NY- their hair had a collective length of over 37 feet-they appeared with Barnum and Bailey’s circus from the 1880s through the early 1900s and created a best selling patent medicine to grow and strengthen hair~ mostly consisting of witch hazel, bay rum, hydrochloride acid, salt and magnesium. They enjoyed success through the flapper age, even when short hair became the rage
Perhaps the little pony found some of their special elixir… #sutherlandsisters #circusact #longhair by @anastaciasphilly

There are four genuine bronze death masks known to exist of Napoleon and numerous secondary plaster copies. While authentic, this example is not historically verified.
We believe that this early generation 19th c. mask originated from the mask that Dr. Francis Burton, a British military surgeon on Saint Helena took of Bonaparte May 7th, 1821.

Lost in Space. Denoyer- Geppert 16 inch Celestial table globe, Chicago , 24 1/2” x 22” diameter , 1956-1960 heavy metal core ,with printed paper calendar and zodiac on a wood horizon band
The 1963 catalog from Denoyer-Geppert offered this celestial globe as their most expensive option-“ show stars down to six magnitude on a light blue background. Epoque of 1930 map mounted on pole of equator.”
Simple and graphically impressive.
