Am fost la Viscri pentru prima oară. Am primit cadou 2 nopți de la @viscri125 pentru ca am povestit ce făceam la banca de la poarta din Crivina. Recomand cu mare drag această casă cu zeci de ani de istorie pe care R&M au reușit să o renoveze păstrând magia vremii în fiecare colțișor. Tot ei ne-au hrănit cu mic-dejun și cina home-made cu produse locale prea bune.
Am mâncat si la @viscrigram și nu e ceva acolo care să nu-mi fi deleitat până si ochii.
Am vizitat @the_kings_house_viscri unde au o expoziție foarte faină cu portrete ale oamenilor din sat sculptate în ceramică de către Virgil Scripcariu. Apoi am desenat noi căsuțele din sat la workshopul de artă care e deschis pentru public în fiecare zi.
Ne-am plimbat cu biciclete prin coclauri și Román a vrut să viziteze micul cimitir cu cea mai frumoasă priveliște.
Am băut cea mai bună cafea la Viscri 36 și nu m-am putut abține de la a-mi cumpăra câteva comori din mica lor galerie cu tot felul de obiecte de artă, bijuterii, cărți, toate făcute de artiști români. Iar biblioteca este fermecătoare.
A plouat mult dar asta ne-a încetinit ritmul și de fapt cam asta face Viscri din om.

Fui a Baja y esto es lo que quiero recordar para siempre.

1. La carretera infinita atravesando el desierto.
2. Las montañas cubiertas de cactus que parecían lanzarse al mar.
3. Los incontables tonos de azul del Mar de Cortés.
4. Los cerros teñidos de rojo al amanecer.
5. Las islas salvajes y sus orillas color turquesa.
6. Los cientos de delfines nadando libres a nuestro alrededor.
7. El pez trompeta que estaba convencido de ser un perro.
8. El lobo marino chilleando entre las olas.
9. Nuestro baile en el mirador, en el atardecer más intenso y sorprendente.
10. Mis amigas: las risas, las horas de desvelo, las conversaciones que se alargaban hasta la madrugada, el vinho verde Topo, fresas con crema, tortillas de harina…

Hay muchas más cosas que quisiera guardar para siempre, pero ya es tarde y me emociona demasiado pensar en volver.

Porque sí, estoy segura de que regresaré. 🤍🌵🌊✨

Tuve la oportunidad de documentar una caminata de street photography guiada por Ana Topoleanu en Puerto Vallarta.

La experiencia comenzó en un café del Pitillal y continuó entre calles, conversaciones, cámaras y momentos cotidianos que muchas veces pasan desapercibidos.

Más que una clase de fotografía, fue una invitación a observar distinto.

A portrait captures what can’t be staged. Presence, intention, and the way someone moves through the world.
From @taller_ruizlopez , a ceramist from Oaxaca rooted in tradition, to @steph_montero_bending, whose work with @nadoporlasballenas connects sport and marine conservation, our lens has captured incredible people doing impactful work across México.

We have also had the honor of photographing Stephanie Brendl, the co-founder of @sierra_a_mar; @danielasotoinnes the head chef and mastermind behind@rubra.mx; and @danielavillegasjewelry, an artist and storyteller who creates wearable art inspired by mother nature.

Each portrait we take, no matter who the subject is, is about showing up, observing, and capturing what’s real.

To photograph a portrait is to step into who someone is beneath the surface, capturing the passion and spark that drive who they are and what they do. This series of portraits brings us into the worlds of artists who are shaping the way we experience art, space, and flavor today.

We begin with @gonzalolebrija, one of the most renowned figures in Mexico’s contemporary art scene and the artist behind El Faro at @xala.mx.

From there, we move into the world of @taller_ruizlopez, a ceramist from Oaxaca whose work is guided by touch and tradition. That same sense of intention carries into the work of @paolacamarena_studio, where architecture and interiors are approached as one continuous language.

It extends further through @tomasverdi of @verdidesign, whose textiles bring together ancestral techniques and contemporary materials, and continues into the kitchen with @danielasotoinnes, whose work at @rubra.mx is redefining contemporary Mexican gastronomy.

It is always an honor to work with talented creatives and capture a glimpse into their process and perspective.

To live along the Pacific is to move in response to your surroundings.
Mornings often begin slowly, whether by the water at @xala.mx or within the natural wonders of @lareservatecuan. Afternoons can move between the pool and the beach, with moments of rest and time spent outdoors becoming part of the routine.
At @mandarina.mx, the experience unfolds across land and sea, where meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and shared in open, relaxed settings. That same connection to food and place carries through @haciendabuenaventura, where local flavors and a sense of tradition bring people together.
Further down the coast, @costalegre.realestate reflects a more private way of living, where comfort, color, and the surrounding landscape define how time is enjoyed.
