“Surrender to” I’m surrendering to myself. I’m waving the white flag, no longer fighting, towards or against. This piece is about battling who you are, fighting. I’ve fought for years in all aspects. We’ve fought the many big battles..and the little ones. Through this I feel my surrender, surrendering to who I am, gracefully settling, comfortably crossing the battlefield to become one with what I’ve been against. Leaving who I was to become who I am. Aligned. Thank you @theeeryncoleman, @ethannjoshuaa, and @emelyjoofficial for helping me bring this vision to light. More than just a cool outfit, but the powerful persons that stand before it. Grateful to The E’s. 🤍 @geomantillaphoto I’ve said this before and I’ll say it always, the way you capture my art is astounding, always love🫶🏾. Don’t be afraid to change the pace📒 • • • I want to share where the inspiration behind this look. • • Recently most of looks (I) created are the opposite of this, very a “celebrity “feel. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good “on stage” moment, however it’s also good to change the pace. Slow down the bpm in everything, listen to the sound of you and not the industrial sounds around. When you slow down you can find the togetherness of it all. Then eventually you will build your breath, your rhythm, your personal style. Take YOUR time because it’s yours to take! • •This is not a Pinterest inpso reincarnation, this is Anaya Always. • • •This capture is sponsored fully by @taylorwickham • Light documentation by @geomantillaphoto • Growing home of @nitrogenthecompany by @anaya.always_
Anaya .. Always. Growth that is undeniable. . This photo defines what we do as a company. From when we take these dancers on to the confident artists they walk away as .. THIS is what self mastery looks like. This is what trusting our program looks like. We told her what she didn’t want to hear .. and so she grew. Show love & respect to the hard work and dedication displayed from this individual. The rollercoaster is humbling with this one & we are forever in her corner. @geomantillaphoto this photo is fucking incredible. by @anaya.always_
