Our packaging is finally done, and we’re a little proud of them♥️

Seven in the line: Banana Bread & Muffin Mix, Pumpkin Spice Loaf Mix (both also in a coconut + Vermont maple sugar version), Chocolate Rye Brownie Kit, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Vanilla Bean Scones.

They all start the same way: heritage grains grown in the Northeast by farmers we know, paid fairly, and stone-milled nearby so the flour tastes like the grain it came from. Organic, never bleached or bromated, never sprayed with glyphosate, never any preservatives. The chocolate is single-origin, organic and fair trade. We mix everything by hand in small batches in Boston.

Every girl needs a touch of whimsy ✨

This pumpkin cold foam is honestly the best I’ve had so far.

This was one of my favorites. I’ve been wanting someone to put this flavor combo together. It was so good. Their matcha is always good but this flavor combo is 10/10.

The little S’more is the cutest thing. I really liked marshmallow cold foam. All the flavors came together well and tasted like a s’more. I personally don’t like mocha/chocolate in my coffee but if you do you would like it.

The pumpkin horchata was my other favorite. The combination of the pumpkin with cinnamon rice milk flavor was outstanding. I wish they were so closer so I could get it more often.

The flight comes with a Fluffernutter Latte but I switched it out for this one.

Honorable mention: I tried their new vanilla scone. It came out warm and had a crisp outer shell but was soft on the inside. taken in Travel Mug Cafe by @anchorandrye

Not wheat. Not even a grain. It’s a seed from the rhubarb family that goes from sowing to harvest in about ten weeks, and it has been growing in the Northeast since the 1600s. Fields are being cut right now.

In 1842 a farmer in Ontario wrote to a friend in Glasgow asking for good seed wheat. The friend pulled a sample off a ship just in from Danzig and mailed it across the Atlantic.

David Fife planted it in spring. It was a winter wheat. Almost the whole crop failed. Three heads ripened from a single grain, and while rust tore through the fields around them, those three stood clean.

He saved every seed. Within thirty years Red Fife was the standard bread wheat of Canada and the northern states. Then hybrids arrived and it nearly disappeared, brought back decades later from a handful of seeds.

A Scottish farmer, a Glasgow harbor, and a grain that almost went extinct. Exactly my kind of story.
