Who brought so much love & joy during
the night.

Backstory::
Last year 2025 our first time attending
Casino night and let me tell you the fun we
Is unmatched. ( I was very unaware that I was sick during this time.) We were playing with fake money for prizes - that you put your tickets in the buckets
Of the gifts you wanted. So last year I was a top person with the most chips.
So I got a lot of tickets to put in the bucket…
Well joke was on me, I didn’t win a thing!!😂
So this year I was in it for redemption 😂😂
Well this year I lost half of my chips in 30 min,
& still didn’t win a thing……

Winston Salem, NC
To Celebrate our girl @goinshomes_ and Gray &their beautiful baby on the way. We stayed at @goinshomes_ AirBnB house in Winston. We had a weekend we needed. We both were able to loosen up and have fun. We ate, we drank, we danced, we loved on each other, & we talked about old memories while making new ones. I haven’t been that happy since I got diagnosed in February with stage 4 cancer: it was the best getaway while also celebrating and rooting our girl on. I’m so proud of you Kate. The way you walk through this world with Grace, the way you made us feel like we were the ones being celebrated, and the way we can talk without talking and read eachother minds without words, and the way we laugh way too hard. Josh and I needed this getaway: we love you so much and can not wait to meet Baby. We are so happy for you & Gray. We are so excited to make new memories once you have Baby. We Love y’all. by @anchorxoxo

Bungee Fitness!!
Bucket List ✅
I DiD That!!!!!
Backstory: 3 Months ago I could barely walk 20 feet.
3 months ago I could barely eat or drink.
With the help of God & Science I have come a long way. 2 surgeries down and being told I was a medical miracle gave me a new perspective on life. I’ve always been a free-spirited, wild, and loving person. However after the treatmeants and the surgeries and all the uncertainties I am still here - LIVING!!!!
My new perspective in life is the do something NEW. Something out of my comfort zone, something I had always wished but never had to courage to do.
On Friday, September 18th I did Bungee Fitness.
I did the whole routine from start to finish. With the encouragement from my girls, with the strength inside of me, and with the idea of trying something new .. I nailed it!!!!! What an opportunity to be able to do so. I felt so brave, so strong, and so badass!!!
The support and love from these girls kept me going.
If I can do it with stage 4 cancer, you can do it..
Now get out there and try something new!!

Last night 08-28-26 I had the opportunity to write out “STAGE 4 CANCER” and light it on fire last night on the black stone @hirohibachi . It was the best feeling in the world to see those words go up in flames!!
There’s a video and then the next slide the words I wrote before they went up in flames. I was with my Anchored Women Group of Ladies. It was an exhilarating feeling. I was so Thankful for the chef for giving me the opportunity to do so. If you know anyone with cancer or yourself have cancer, you know how hard it can be. It rips you of everything. Your confidence, your ability to look at anyone or anything the same, your strength, and your dignity, and your joy. Last night I found my joy in about 20 seconds of writing those words and lighting them on fire. It was one of the best feelings I have Felt since I got diagnosed. God will prevail

Josh✨✨ You are my heart, my protector, & my life.
You are my inspiration, my joy, and my husband.
You are my hero, my best friend, my lover.
You have provided me with the life I had always dreamed and prayed of having. You give me the ability to be young, wild, & free. You encourage me to spread my wings and fly, to laugh out loud, to never settle for the bare minimum. You have proved time after time your loyalty to me and our life. On Feb 22, 2020 we made vows to eachother and have been challenged to keep and honor those vows. Life is hard!!!!! Guess what??! WE DID IT!!!
Me having Cancer may of caused some stress, some uncomfortable situations, & some difficult conversations. But you have always seen the positive, given me the courage and confidence to keep me going and to be brave while doing so. These past 10 years have been the best years of my life. You have opened doors and shown me the meaning of loyalty, bravery, & love.
I love you with my whole being, I love our life we have created, & I love the way you make me feel.
I hope everyone gets a chance to live their life with love, laughter, and passion as we have got to do so.
Through the hardships, challenges, and for me being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I can say I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. That’s due to the fact you are my soul mate, my other half, my heart, my confidence, my joy,& my best friend. I am lucky and honored to be your wife.
I love you.

Today is August 13th around noon. I am currently just extremely grateful to be here today. Im in North Carolina, my home state. Carolina blue skies. Takes my breath away. And the smell of saltwater just melts my heart. I believe in God & Science and miracles. But guess what.. I still woke up with stage 4 cancer, cancer doesn’t define a person. Cancer does however bring a lot burden to you and the ones around you. Cancer is a thief of many things such as confidence, grief of the life you had before, your joy, and many other factors. But just as many thief’s.. you just have to make sure it doesn’t steal yours. Some days I have my joy back, thoughts of my old life, to if I am being honest cancer doesn’t change who I am at all. I love my life. I have the best family and friends anyone could ever ask for. Going through cancer treatment and challenges Your badass, inner strength finds you, even when your in the most terrible place of your life. I am so loved and love to love so hard that love always wins too. I do believe the people you put yourself around are a reflection of you. And I am so blessed, honored, and thankful for my village, my tribe. Sure you will go through the valleys and those days will be the absolute worst day but it’s just a bad day, it is not a bad life. by @anchorxoxo

Something so small can mean something so big. This little pottery record player I painted was during a time of uncertainty.. a waiting period to find out if the chemo treatment regiment I am on is working. & I just got the news that they are, my lesions have shrunk.!!The day I got diagnosed (after going in for a wellness check, no signs or symptoms) I was told there was no cure for my stage 4 cancer in 2 places. I was also told that I needed a miracle to get any kind of surgery to remove the lesions bc my liver had been attacked so aggressively by the cancer. This small record player means more to me than a lot of other “things”, bc it was there at a time where music, love, support, & God were the only things getting me by and this little record player was there too. I always try to look at the positives, the blessings and what I have found is God is soo Good❣️

SHOUT OUT to MY HUSBAND. When we said, on the day, 02-22-20, we got married 6 years ago “Through sickness and health” we meant it. He has been by my side during this whole cancer journey. There are countless the places he has had to drive me, his patients is unreal, and the love he has for me is felt through and through, up& down. The love I have for him is endless. Life has a funny way of showing you “Do you keep your word and loyalty?” Well this man does. To know Josh is to know a very special man in this world. His family is his top priority. I’m still so much in love with him today vs the day we got married. Josh, I Love You. Your my Rock and my Angel on earth. ❣️🤟❤️✨ by @anchorxoxo
