Trailer for Rodéo (2022) which is our featured film screening on Monday, August 31st as part of our Plaza Picks series!

RODEO is a directorial debut from filmmmaker Lola Quivoron, and took home the 2022 Cannes Coup de Coeur. The film is a high-octane character study & an exploration of urban machismo. After a chance meeting at an illicit “Rodeo” where riders show off their bikes and stunts, Julia (Julie Ledru) strives to prove herself to a volatile, ultra-masculine clique, performing cons and surviving by her wits.

We are selling a limited number of physical tickets for this screening! If you purchase a physical ticket directly from us, you can skip paying the DICE fees. The first 15 people to buy a physical ticket will also get an 11x17 poster for the film as well as a sticker & post card. DM us if you’d like to buy one!

Earlier this summer, we began production on one of our first big projects, Viet Tongue. Written & Directed by collective member Sara Luu, this ambitious low-budget project was built from the ground up by a team of incredible indie filmmakers.

In our favorite tradition of romanticizing filmmaking, we put together a b-sides “diary” that we think encapsulates the beauty of making a movie with your friends. We have much more to share soon, and will be heading into our second leg of production in the Winter. Stay tuned 💙🎥🌀 by @andallco
