When people ask me,
“What’s your why?”

It started at 16.

After school, I would come home and do aerobics in the living room.

My mum would record cassettes for me so I could press play and follow along.

She was so inspiring.

After a long day at school, I’d move…
and feel good again.

I’d get lost in the beat.
In the music.
In the energy.

That feeling changed something in me.

At 16, I called my first mentor a powerful woman who had her own TV fitness program in Costa Rica.

I asked her if I could be like her.

For about a year, I trained and appeared on her TV program.

Then she invited me to IDEA Fitness in LA.

That experience changed my life.

I saw what was possible.
I saw women leading on big stages.
I saw that movement could take you anywhere.

From Costa Rica…
to international stages…
to rooms filled with women rising together…

That’s my why.

I come alive when:

• A woman stands taller.
• A mum chooses herself.
• Women lift each other at every age.
• Community turns doubt into power.

This was never just fitness.

It was courage.
It was identity.
It was choosing yourself.

That’s why I continue to teach at 43.

That’s why I created the 30 Day Tone & Confidence Reset.

Because the same feeling I found at 16
you can find it too at any age.

If you’re ready to reconnect with that energy…

Low energy? Try this. ⚡

You don’t need to feel energised to create energy.

Save this for the days you need it most. 💛 by @andfit

Just slow down.

Find the pace that gives you peace.

Not the pace the world expects from you.
Not the pace that leaves you constantly catching your breath.
Not the pace that keeps you busy but disconnected from yourself.

There is no prize for rushing through your life.

Some seasons are meant for building.
Others are meant for healing.

Some days you’ll move fast.
Others, your greatest act of courage will be to pause.

Listen to your body.

Protect your energy.

Create space to breathe.

The slower path isn’t always the easier one.

But it’s often the one that brings you back to yourself.

Because peace isn’t found at the finish line.

It’s found in the way you choose to move through each day.

I wanted to share this yesterday after an audition I had.

Walking out, I could have focused on everything I didn’t do perfectly.

Instead, I chose to focus on the feedback.

Not because it was easy to hear…
But because feedback is one of the fastest ways to grow.

After more than 20 years in the fitness industry, I still put myself in rooms where I’m learning, being challenged, and sometimes being corrected.

Growth doesn’t stop because you have experience.

It starts again every time you’re willing to become a beginner.

The feedback I received wasn’t a sign that I wasn’t good enough.
It was a roadmap showing me exactly what to work on next.

That’s the difference.

Some people hear feedback as criticism.
Others hear it as coaching.

The second mindset is the one that keeps you growing.

Whether it’s Pilates, business, fitness, or life…
Don’t run from feedback.

Ask for it.
Listen to it.
Use it.

Because the people who improve the fastest aren’t the most talented.

They’re the ones willing to learn.

✨ What’s the best piece of feedback you’ve ever received that changed the way you do something?

Joy doesn’t come from waiting for life to change. It comes from choosing yourself. 💛

Choosing yourself isn’t selfish.

It’s saying yes to the workout.
It’s having the hard conversation.
It’s setting the boundary.
It’s trying something new.
It’s remembering that your dreams still matter.

Every time you choose yourself, you choose growth.
And when you choose growth… you find joy again.

✨ If you’ve been feeling stuck, maybe it’s time to stop waiting and start choosing YOU.

What deserves your energy today?

Maybe it’s movement.
Maybe it’s rest.
Maybe it’s your family.
Maybe it’s making that phone call you’ve been avoiding.

Whatever it is…

Come with me to Pilates today. 🤩
I’m making the most of this season before I head back to work settling into Singapore, exploring my neighbourhood, trying different studios, and enjoying this extra time with my kids.

I’m loving @labstudios._ at the moment. The vibe is amazing, the classes are challenging, and the teachers have been so welcoming. It’s quickly become one of my favourite places to reset.

It’s been a reminder that slowing down can be just as productive as speeding up. ✨ by @andfit
