We’re back this new year with the 14th &F mix. With no one else than mod, a DJ whose lifelong connection to music drives her versatile, multi-genre sets. From dreaming of playing to big crowds to stepping behind the decks eight years ago, mod has crafted a sound that blends house, techno, breaks, and trance — all while keeping things unpredictable.

Starting at friends’ parties and evolving to her own events, often DnB focused, mod developed an instinctual style that’s both nostalgic and fresh. For this mix, she revisited tracks from 8–9 years ago, starting off with Young Wolf – Kabuki (Spiritual Version), one of her first vinyl records, seamlessly blending them with new discoveries.

Recorded in her new Amsterdam apartment, this mix is filled with hypnotic rhythms, uplifting energy, and brilliant mashups to top things off. Plug in and enjoy this journey by mod.

For this edition of the &FRIENDS MIX SERIES, we are delighted to bring you an hour of dynamic, summer-infused energy by Hazuki. Her sets are filled with tracks that don’t just make you wan’t to get up and dance but also introduce you to fresh, exciting artists you might not know yet.

Raised in a household of classical musicians, Hazuki’s deep relationship with music spans 14 years of playing violin, piano, and guitar before she turned to DJing. Being recorded on a perfect summer afternoon with sunbeams flowing into her room, this mix captures the vibe of a day transforming into a night of pure dancing fun. Her motto? Don’t take yourself too seriously and let the music speak for itself.

Put the volume up, invite some Friends over, and let Hazuki’s bubbly personality and positive energy guide you through a feel-good ride. Ready to throw a house party?

Just when we hop into August, DJ Sluterdijk takes us on a ride. Originally from Madrid, now Amsterdam-based, she’s a familiar face for many of our Friends. She traded the front row for the decks, bringing big beats, electro sounds, and choppy twists to our &F MIX SERIES.

As a natural bouncy dancer, she shifted to DJing to share her joy with others. Known for her ravey, acid electro vibe, she’s now diving into drum and bass, inspired by Total Science. Recorded in her living room with the hum of Nieuwmarkt, this energetic mix is a swervy road of jungly sounds and funky DnB. Are you in for the ride Friends?

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬,

We regret to inform you that THE BOOGIE BOAT will not set sail this summer. After yesterday’s bad news from the captain, we were offered new dates to reschedule the event. Unfortunately these are not be feasible for us as a community.

We're sad that we can’t host the event we’ve been looking forward to all year. We went looking for an alternative out on the water but got blown away unfortunately.

All ticket holders will receive an email with refund/donation instructions from Eventix.

Massive shout out to everyone involved in trying to make this happen. Your support and enthusiasm mean the world to us, and we look forward to creating more memories with you in the future.

Love always,

We are honoured to welcome a familiar face on board: AIS De La Montagne is an upcoming talent in the Dutch DJ scene, having started her career during the pandemic. With performances at renowned clubs like NAR in Utrecht and major festivals like Elrow and Mysteryland, AIS is quickly making a name for herself. Her signature style isn’t bound by genres, but you can expect lots of warm sounds and percussive elements that always get the crowd moving.

The course she has planned for us will be a surprise, but one thing is certain: her style and tunes in combination with a sun-drenched deck will be one beautiful trip out to the sea. Join us on board THE BOOGIE BOAT and grab your ticket via our bio 🩵💜 by @andfriends.am
