i am announcing my new website:
andis-art.com
i am offering up my soul here and it makes me nervous, but i’m like “whatever. let’s do it”. so i designed my website to be a place for everthing i create; whether it’s paintings, drawings, mixed media, or poetry & prose. i am also including a blog for personal journal entries of my thoughts and wonderings along this journey. the website has a store where you can find art for sale. i am still adding many, many pieces to the store everyday, so stay tuned for more there. so go check it out and engage with me there. i am hoping to create a little community, so i reckon we’ll see what happens! link is in my bio friends! and thank you!!!!!

finished a new one called “Conduit”
16x20” acrylic and oil pastel on wood panel.
many layers and techniques to this one. i began with an acrylic wash and stain for the under painting and then went with a flow of shapes and colors. layer after layer using brushes, palette knife and my hands mostly. towards the end i made some patterned marks and was sure i had messed it up and was ready to call it a failure, but something told me to work it through and i’m glad i did. smudged it right out! what i thought of when i created this piece is natural and artificial conduits and how they connect, relay and intertwine. i hope you enjoy this piece of art in a photo. to see it and touch it is definitely a different experience for me. for sale! by @andi_sword
