5️⃣0️⃣ of 5️⃣0️⃣ Recently completed my silly little mission to see all fifty US states 🇺🇸 With a roadtrip through New England I checked Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine and off the list and finished it all off with the smallest state, Rhode Island, the last state that I hadn’t been to 🌊 I’m done! ▫️reconnect with old friends over more beers

Isle Royale National Park photo (and video) dump 🫎
Spent five days backpacking in Isle Royale National Park. Isle Royale is an island in Lake Superior off the shore of Minnesota – but it technically belongs to Michigan which is why I was able to add US-State 35/50 to my list with this trip, ha! Isle Royale is supposed to be the least visited US National Park, probably because it’s only accessible by boat or sea plane, and home to lots of moose and wolves. We hiked about 40 miles with all our gear, came across a total of four moose who crossed our paths (or who we accidentally woke up hiking on the trail while they took a nap next to it - sorry!) and were pretty lucky with the weather (and the bugs). Had a blast – 10/10 would recommend!
