HE IS RISEN! 🙌
"The ground began to shake. The stone was rolled away. His perfect love could not be overcome. Now death where is your sting? Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated!" Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Saturday. The day of silence, waiting and trusting. The day of preparation for what is to come. Praise God that we know what is - resurrection! And our God specializes in it! 🙌 I am so grateful for 40 days spent preparing my heart and spending time in this chunky book all about the powerful atoning sacrifice of our precious Passover Lamb Jesus on the cross. ➕️ What a special study Atonement has been. Studying each aspect of Passover with the journey of Jesus to the cross has left me with so many reasons to praise. 🙌 Sacrifices could hold back the punishment, but only One could eliminate it entirely! ❤ Have a blessed weekend remembering all He has done!

Day 37-40 of Atonement: Scapegoat & The Hour ➕️
This is not defeat. This is victory. Our salvation complete because of Calvary. Praise the Father. Praise the Son. It is finished. It is done. 🙌
Isaiah 53:10–12 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush Him; He has put him to grief; when His soul makes an offering for guilt, He shall see His offspring; He shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. Out of the anguish of His soul He shall see and be satisfied;
by His knowledge shall the righteous one, My servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the many, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors." 😭🙌

Holy Week Day 35 & 36 of Atonement: Offering ➕️
"The sacrifice had to correspond with what one could afford. It was wrong for a rich man to only offer a bird as a burnt offering. The greatness of the sacrifice had to correspond with the greatness of the one who brought the offering. Therefore, when God made His offering for sin, He gave the richest, most costly thing He could – Himself." 🙌 (Enduring Word Commentary) THANK YOU LORD! What a beautiful study on offering today! 🖤

Hosanna in the highest! 🌿 Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Whenever I see my Savior Jesus depicted in a play or movie riding into Jerusalem on the donkey, tears just flow. Entering in the city with praise and all while knowing what was to come. 😭 And He has victory over it all! 🙌 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is He, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey." ~ Zechariah 9:9

Day 33-34 of Atonement - Whole ➕️
Not one bone was broken on our Savior's body...just as instructed for the Passover Lamb. A whole, perfect Sacrifice. 🙌
John 19:31-37 "Since it was the day of Preparation, and so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who had been crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water. He who saw it has borne witness—his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth—that you also may believe. For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken.” And again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they have pierced.”

Day 25-28 of Atonement: The Bread & Hyssop ➕️
John 19:28-30 "Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." 🙌
