Snuck out yesterday and took advantage of a weather window and scored a few nice ones. @hooked_in_cali tagged a couple slugs to wipe the Seabass skunk off his sled. All fish on the bounceball. Had a few dolphins right next to the pier follow us out for a minute. Haven't really seen them in that shallow.

Cape Cod Stripah's! Got out with the O'Brien boys for a slayfest out of Harwichport, Mass on the Magellan. East coast fishing is fun. These fish were blowing up lures on the surface in tidal rips. Slot limit is 28"-31" We had plenty of fish over and under thst, and we were able to harvest some nice fish.

Back on the flatfish program, nice conditions, bait was pretty much MIA, but made it happen with the couple pieces I found and the bounceball rig.

3 am wakeup call, 530 am launch, 12 hours on the water, a couple heart breaks at the net early, several knock downs and a short. Stayed on the grind, locked in on that rod tip, got a shot and found redemption. 34" 15lbs. Weather was as good as it gets. @wildernesssystems #Recon120hd is a machine.

The grind pays off! Stuck to the program and it paid off with a 43" 36.5 lb unit. 7 hours on the plastic sled staring at the rod tips waiting for that moment. Sometimes there's a lot of those moments, and sometimes it's just the one right kind. The @fishoholics_805 abalone dodger gets bit

Ocean wasn't cooperating yesterday, so hit the lake for a troll. Found a couple trout and enjoyed some beautiful February weather. Loving this @newport_vessels NK 180 Pro on my @wildernesssystems Recon 120 HD. Hopefully back tobl the regular scheduled program soon.

Weather was too good to pass up! Snuck away and found a few. Nothing giant but any day with a flattie or three is a good day. Weather was so nice even saw F&G out in their RIB on a random weekday afternoon. @wildernesssystems #Recon120hd with a motor has been a really nice upgrade to my trolling game. @fishoholics_805 Abalone prism tape dodger was the ticket.

What an awesome day! Lake like conditions and hungry fish. @pathfinderfishco was on them good yesterday. Had the fish karma all day and had to leave them biting. Literally had that slob 30 seconds into fishing, and then we hooked another one before we even got all the gear out. Was stoked to be able to help Willy fill the bag and had a ton of fun doing it.

2025 on the salt. 5 Halibut 40" or bigger this year along with a lot of other stuff in the mix. Grateful for the support from @wildernesssystems and my fishing community here on the Central Coast and beyond. Got to fish with a lot of great people this year. Hope to see you all out there in 2026!

Finishing 2025 with a couple of units. Weather was as good as it gets, stuck to the program once again, and it paid off. These winter flatties are thick. 43" 35 lbs and 40" 26 lbs. A couple "little" ones at 29" and 30" to round out the day. Fish caught on the @fishoholics_805 Dodgers and Kajiki

December on the Central California Coast. Took advantage of the window, stuck to the program, put in the work and was rewarded. Thick girl had her winter coat on at 38" 23.75 lbs.
