Being an entrepreneur in Portugal comes with its challenges.

When you don’t carry a “premium” family name, you don’t inherit a legacy you build every chapter from scratch. And when you are African, the child of immigrant parents, the path is rarely straightforward: you have to work three times harder, overcome silent biases, and take on what no one else wants… just to reach places few do.

But this is not about discrimination. It’s about opportunity. It’s about attitude.

If you’re given the chance to dream, honor it.Work. Persist. Grow. And prove to yourself that you are capable.

Recognition doesn’t come from the name you carry it comes from the story you build.

Being present at the 10th anniversary of Forbes Portugal, at the EDP Electricity Museum in Lisbon, reflects the path we are shaping alongside outstanding creative and financial minds. Sharing is a fundamental part of building meaningful connections and opportunities. by @andradebarros29

In business, strength is essential.
But a courageous mind is what drives true progress.

Strength sustains structure.
Courage challenges the status quo, fuels innovation, and empowers teams to face demanding markets with clarity and confidence.

In any organisation, the real competitive edge emerges when operational capability meets the boldness to think differently, decide with conviction, and move forward even without all the answers.

Strength creates stability.
Courage creates opportunity.
Companies that combine both don’t just survive — they lead. by @andradebarros29

Working with purpose means understanding that effort is not only about completing tasks, but about transforming.

Transforming teams, transforming processes, transforming our own identity.

Conscious effort allows us to grow from the inside out and teaches us that a professional’s value is not measured by their title, but by the way they honour their path.

In the end, what you give to your work always returns to you — in the form of maturity, respect, and new opportunities. by @andradebarros29

Every day has two sides.
In business, too.

There’s the side that reacts… and the side that leads.
The side that waits… and the side that creates opportunities.
The side that finds excuses… and the side that finds solutions.

In the end, success is born from the side we choose to stand on.
I choose the side of action, responsibility, and results.

Strong people are not defined by results.
They are defined by resilience.

Everyone looks good on a good day.
Real strength appears when no one is watching.

✅ When they keep working while others quit.
✅ When they stay calm under pressure.
✅ When they fall, and come back stronger.
✅ When they deliver without excuses, without applause.

Companies grow with talent,
but they win with resilience.

The greatest victory is not winning.
It’s refusing to give up.

Identify the ones who don’t break.
Those are the people who build teams.
Those are the people who build results.
Those are the people who build the future.

The Triangle of Success: BE, DO, and HAVE.

It all starts with BEING capable — believing in yourself, developing your skills, and committing to growth.
Then comes DOING what makes a difference — acting with purpose, creating impact, and turning challenges into results.
And finally, HAVING success — the natural outcome of consistency, effort, and authenticity.

In business, as in life, this triangle is the foundation of everything.
Without it, nothing stands. With it, everything becomes possible.

💭 Where are you in the triangle?

We’re not chasing fame. We’re chasing impact.

It’s not about being seen.
It’s about being remembered —
for the difference you make,
for the light you bring,
for the example you leave. ✨

Real success isn’t loud.
It’s felt.

Managing Potential: Turning Talent into Impact

Turning talent into impact is not just about training — it’s about vision, method, and purpose.
True human potential management begins when we look beyond performance and understand what truly drives each person.

Because talent without direction is wasted energy.
And direction without purpose is just routine.

Managing potential means believing before results appear, creating the conditions for every athlete, professional, or young person to discover their true “why” — and turn it into action.

Impact happens when talent finds its place in the world.
That’s where real leadership begins.

A true leader is one who recognizes the merit of others and takes pride in the growth of their team, partners, and clients.

Success is not measured solely by personal results, but by the ability to inspire, develop, and create impact around us.

When we value the talent of others, we strengthen our business ecosystem.
Companies that nurture this culture build trust, foster innovation, and create sustainable value.

True competitiveness lies in being better together — not in wanting to be the only one who wins.
