Today is my 20th birthday. It’s also the day of my grandfathers wake. Two very different celebrations. One for the continuation of a life and one for the end of a life. But to be honest I find so much comfort in my own weakness. To know that the fate of all of this doesn’t rest in my incapable hands, and that there is something so much bigger than me, a source of pure love and joy that has it all worked, is a feeling of security I truly wish on all beings. Here is a video I took from the top of the world today when something called me to smell the roses instead of rushing home from school. I love you Baba, may you rest in peace. And if you’re reading this I love you too. Thank you.
