I wanted to take the time to give out some flowers that are well deserved. This one is for the big man himself Wesley Nino Green. I started my daughter out in the game of basketball and she has had a village of help along the way. There are a lot of coaches and people that have been apart of the journey and it will never go unnoticed. God put Coach Wesley in Alana’s life in the 7th grade when she couldn’t see what was happening from that start. I truly released her to him and he helped put a stamp on what you see displayed on the court today. He’s a Coach, Trainer, Big Brother,and a great mentor in her life. It was a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to this point. A lot of hot sun workouts on the track and in the gym. Even nights with no A/C in the gym to prepare the mind to be different. A lot of arguments and quitting one day and after a phone conversation she’s right back in the trenches the next day. He never gave up on her and she only got better for it. Words will never be able to express what you’ve done for our baby girl in this walk called life. Although she still has a lot of ball left to play as she works towards winning a third straight district title this season and prepares for college next year. It’s only right to give the respect when it’s due. This family loves you Wes and we will always be here to support you and what you are doing for these kids in the community.
