ArtBridge is excited to share the last of our 3 new murals created through New York State’s CHARM initiative (Cultivating Havens for the Arts through Regional Murals). “Made in the Bronx,” by artists Andre Trenier (@andre.trenier) and Tats Cru (@ tatscru; Bio @biotatscru, Nicer @nicertatscru, BG 183 @bg183tatscru) is located outside of the Andrew Freedman Home (@afhbronx) – an artists’ collective for Bronx-based creators, and a collaborative arts space for the neighborhood. The piece commemorates and celebrates the creative spirit of the borough, highlighting some of the activities and artists that have passed through the Andrew Freedman Home. The characters on the right, Grandmaster Caz and Melle Mel, are two native Bronx hip-hop pioneers who famously showcased their work at the home. The other two characters, a female DJ and Dr. Drum, a current Andrew Freedman Home resident artist, represent a newer generation of artists in the community. André Trenier is a muralist and lifelong Bronx resident. His career began by painting memorial pieces in the Bronx, and he continues to honor his neighborhood and culture through his work. Drawn to community-based projects, he hopes to reflect on viewers their own potential. He served as an Artist in Residence at the Andrew Freedman Home. Tats Cru, also known as “The Mural Kings,” is a world-famous art collective of Bronx-based graffiti writers. Founded in the 1980s, at the height of the subway graffiti movement, they are known for dramatically advancing graffiti art, both artistically and commercially. “Made in the Bronx” was painted by members Bio, Nicer and BG 183. 📍 1125 Grand Concourse, Bronx 🎨 Artist: @andre.trenier @ tatscru (@biotatscru, @nicertatscru, @bg183tatscru) 📸: @melocorp Made possible by the NYSCA CHARM Initiative with support from the Office of the Governor. @nyscouncilonthearts #NYStateMuralWeek #PublicArt #Murals by @andre.trenier

We’ve partnered with @hydrapak through their Sustainable Racing Program and this is about more than putting in miles. It’s about showing love to the streets that we run on. Every runner should have received a reusable HydraPak speed cup. No more grabbing a cup, taking a sip and tossing it. We have switched up the game. Our volunteers have been posted at every water station, ready to keep you hydrated and moving. Get your speed cup filled by the crew or hit the self serve coolers stocked with water and electrolytes. For everyone, it’s less waste. So, let’s continue looking out for each other, respecting the environment and pushing the running culture forward the right way. Also remember, Hill Repeats tonight @ 7pm. Community over Everything! Point. Blank. Period. #thenonameprogram #runwithwhoyoutrust #DefineNewYorkRunClub #IRunYouRunWeRunTogether #RunningNewYorkCityStreets by @andre.trenier

A tribute to the artist @andre.trenier for supporting @Champion for over 20 years. Before major budgets were in play- Andre was always supporting us as we built a grass roots movement into a powerful global movement. Andre was in the trenches lending his artistry and connecting us to his community of artists and thought leaders @marthalicia @mike_wres @40wattagram @thatcoffeyboy - who all were just as supporting as him. You might not see the artists but understand that behind everything there is an artist, designer, architect making things come to life. Support your local artist. S/O to @40wattagram in the video too. Special thanks to @champion for giving us the opportunity to work with creators. Shout out to @whatsinyourfridge who put in work at the Champion NYC store too.@shout out to the @museumofgraffiti @alankets and @a.l.l.i.s.o.n.f for supporting the artist community. #blockpartysxb2026 #blockpartysxb #graffitistrasbourg #hiphopbattles #hiphopjam by @andre.trenier
