Why acceptance so often come at the cost of authenticity?
I bend to fit your needs
Stretching thin till i cant breathe
Folding corners of myself into silence
Shrinking my colors beneath your comfort
How to exist only in acceptable amounts
Until i no longer recognize the shape of my own freedom

‘FIT IN’ showcases the pressure queer people face to conform to heteronormative society. Through restraints and tension, this series reflects the feeling of holding parts of yourself back in order to belong and feel no fear.
Why acceptance so often comes at the cost of authenticity?

This cover exists because of our global network of queer contributors, creatives, and collaborators who pour themselves into every story we tell. It exists for them.

While we’re not necessarily a queer-themed magazine, we are committed to remaining a space where queerness is not a theme to be explored, but a foundation to build from. Radical allyship, visibility, and pride. Every month. Not just in June. by @andrea.casetti

Flashbacks to spooky summer on this Halloween night! This supercut from the @patchworkfamily.official at @paradisoadam show for Amsterdam fashion week is on my mind 🎃💀! During WORLD PRIDE which was hosted in our city this year I tried to find the best protest for 2026 but only ran into love is love signs and bad outfits! Tonight is Halloween and I have a feeling that the “bring back shame” moto still holds 👻
Shall I post the full 10min edit on YouTube??

@ramblerstudios X @patchworkfamily.official present: 10 collaborations for the World Protest Show at @nolimitsartcastle

For this exposition, The Patchwork Family collaborates with Rambler Studios on a series of projects exploring protest, memory, image-making, fashion, performance and film. Patchwork Family Members were invited to take iconic protests and acts of collective resistance as a starting point for their work. We’ll share all the works here until the end of the exhibition, the 23rd of August.

Liberty Leading the People by @junnysos._ and @m.m_96_ with @meikevanlelyveld

This collective project by The Patchwork Family revisits Eugène Delacroix’s iconic painting Liberty Leading the People. The original image is physically disrupted, printed without its central figure and split in two. In her place stands Becky Stabber, a drag persona by @jtakajizztaco carrying a white flag rather than a national symbol. By replacing a symbol of nationalist revolution with a figure advocating peace, the work questions both the sexualisation of women within historical imagery and the political ideals these images have come to represent. The project proposes a broader understanding of liberty, one grounded in self determination, bodily autonomy and collective care rather than conflict and conquest.
The Instagram-unfriendly version of this image is available for sale in the @nolimitsartcastle gallery and all proceeds will go to @dontgowewillfundthem by @andrea.casetti

The BE White on White collection 🤍

White is not a colour, it's a frequency.

On meditation retreats and in energy work, we wear white. Our clothes become part of the practice.

Traditionally, retreat wear lives outside of fashion. But what if you could meditate in streetwear? What if you could channel energy in pieces that make you feel alive?

Wear it on retreat. Wear it on the street. Wear it however being yourself looks today.
White on white. Everything and nothing at once.

About Love & Other Necessities: high-vibrational, eco fashion. Every print is one of my hand-drawn Freedom Drawings, each carrying the energy of a spiritual lesson. Yoga wear, streetwear and loungewear, made on demand from recycled fabrics, so nothing goes to waste. Shop the collection, link in bio ✨ by @andrea.casetti
