The week after we arrived in Cape Breton, we were thrilled to reconnect with Brad and Joanna, who happened to be travelling along the East Coast. Coincidentally, they booked a hotel room in Iona, a small town only 10 minutes from us. 😊
We met at the local bar for dinner and live music, then continued the evening around a campfire at Naz and Andrew’s place where Brad treated us to even more wonderful live music. It was so special to share our new home and surroundings with friends, and to spend such a fantastic evening together. Their travel plans could not have lined up more perfectly. 💜 by @andrea.romyn

We stayed in Naz and Andrew’s spare room for about a week until we moved into their bus as we haven’t found a suitable trailer/tiny home yet - Very grateful for these two amazing and most generous human beings! 💜 by @andrea.romyn

It’s been a little while since I last posted, and I can’t believe we’ve already been in Cape Breton for three weeks!
We arrived on September 6, feeling pretty exhausted after seven days on the road. We went straight to the storage unit to unload. Everything ended up fitting with even some extra room to spare 😊.
Then we headed over to Naz and Andrew’s place, where we were warmly welcomed by the ducks and chickens too 😊 by @andrea.romyn

First night of our moving journey we stayed in a motel.
Tonight we found a perfect spot for our caravan. We stopped early to be able to set up during daylight, have dinner and relax outside a bit before the mosquitoes come out. by @andrea.romyn
