Our homeschool room 🥹If you would have asked me 5 years ago (maybe even 3!) if we would ever homeschool, my answer would’ve been “no, never!” Oh how the Lord had other plans! He placed a desire in my heart that started small and then grew and grew. I can’t wait to begin our journey as Lilah begins kindergarten! Cruise Memories part 1 🛳️🤍 A few favorites from this week:- The girls (and Owen) discovering strawberry daiquiris are their favorite - Sea days reading Pride and Prejudice (I finished it this week 🙌🏻)- getting dressed up for dinner every night - perfect weather sailing to see the Arch in Cabo & the girls getting to drive the tender boat- swimming with a dolphin (Everly’s dream come true!)- Owen thinking the splash pad and dancing with the dining room staff were the greatest things ever (and saying “fries, please!” as soon as he sat down each night 😂)- Luke and my dad somehow winning the pickleball tournament - Downton Abbey on the big screen before bedFeeling grateful for a week together! by @andrea.ross__

Owen Van is 2!!!Happy birthday, sweet boy! You are a character! We love your littles jokes and your sense of humor. You are all boy and keep us on our toes! I hope I remember that everything is a sword and your little voice saying, “Mommy! Fight!” 🗡️😂 Our prayer is that the Lord would call you to Himself and you would walk with him all of your days. Happy 8th Birthday, Lilah!! 🥹 8 years old feels like a big one! Still a little kid at heart, but I see glimpses of the young lady you are becoming! We have loved watching you grow this year. One of the sweetest things this year was to watch you serve on the worship team—on Sundays and at VBS! I love watching you worship, whether on stage or while we’re driving in the car. Your heart for the Lord is a blessing to watch! My prayer is that, just with Lucy and Aslan, “every year you grow, you find [Him] bigger.” 🤍 by @andrea.ross__

I was convinced homemade ice cream would be one of those things that sounded fun, but wasn’t worth the effort 😅 I was totally wrong! It’s simple and tastes so much better than store-bought. It has that old-fashioned, slow summer feeling that makes an ordinary afternoon feel a little more memorable! Making all the memories over here this summer 🥹I used @thankfulhomemaking’s chocolate ice cream recipe! by @andrea.ross__

Now that we’ve wrapped up the school year, it’s time to tackle all of those projects I haven’t had time for. Whenever I start feeling overwhelmed by all the random projects and tasks floating around in my head, I do a brain dump! Nothing fancy…just open up a notebook and write it all down. I write down everything that’s been taking up space in my mind, so I can stop trying to remember it all day long.
