I've always been skeptical about the RMC hype.
Launched coasters have always dominated my top 5, and I'm not a fan of rides that focus on just one type of force, that are too intense, or too repetitive. I also hate when uncomfortable restraints prevent you from enjoying the forces.
Many people attributed these flaws to SteVe, and having partially found them in Twisted Timbers, my first RMC, I thought I knew what to expect from what is considered their main masterpiece.
This, combined with the fact I hadn’t seen any POV before riding it, kept my expectations from getting too high, despite the ride’s reputation.

After my first ride, I realized how wrong I was.
This ride isn’t “only airtime”: it has a variety of elements (sustained ejector hills, bunny hills, inversions, laterals, great pacing) and I didn’t find it repetitive at all.
It was way less brutal than I imagined, especially in the second half which I thought would “kill” the coaster, but instead it was filled with that out-of-control sensation I love so much.
The restraints weren’t nearly as uncomfortable as people said (but I know that’s subjective).

What I love most in a coaster is: a sense of flying, an out-of-control sensation, and surprises. This ride has them all, and more. It’s long, smooth, and set in an amazing environment (first half: stunning views of the park and lake; second half: weaving through the surreal wooden structure). Who cares about the lack of theming when you have this?

It was only at the end that I realized I had ridden it 8 times in just two days, despite Cedar Point being anything but a park with only one coaster worth marathoning endlessly.
I wasn’t able to ride it at night in the back row, guess that will be my goal for next time.

It may sound like I'm overhyping it, and that's the last thing I want, but I only talk like this when a ride blows me away. This ride did, despite not having the highest expectations.
And this is by far my favorite “traditional” coaster I’ve ever ridden.
Rate: 10/10

Plopsaland 2025 🇧🇪

I don't have much to say about this park. It's a children park, with nice theming for the target and a lot of family rides. It's every child's paradise.
Of course, the only true reason I came here again is the one and only, Ride to Happiness. I've always made stories on Instagram about it but never made a post, and I think it deserves it. The only problem is that I can't find the words. I'll just say: I rode it 43 times in two days, I think it's enough to understand. It's addictive, it's beautiful, stunning to watch at, the area always gives me chills, with that station and the sweet music. The transition from the sweet, delicate atmosphere, to the intensity of the coaster, along with the soundtrack starting kicking-in, is breathtaking. I didn't remember it was that intense, I remembered there were some weak moments, but no. Every single moment is a smile on my face, and every single brake run is an infinite laugh. Sometimes I even cried, like on my first ride, which was so beautiful even if it was early morning and with only 10 degrees.
The combination of Tomorrowland with this madness of a coaster is perfect. It's an experience, it's a work of art, not just a regular coaster.
I will never forget this ride. It's impossible to put into words how much it means to me. I think that staying an entire day, from 10 to 18, ONLY in that area, without going anywhere else, explains it all.
You have to try it to understand.

Only one word, love. ❤️

This ride will be the death of Ride to happiness.

Sorry for the long post, but this is my opinion. For me, I don't have to wait for the new coaster to firmly say: it WON'T be better. Never. Maybe most of you will disagree, but I don't care. They copied most of the rides, even the name of the park, and now they're taking away rth's iconicity for fucking MONEY. What's exciting about this? Nothing. More intense? I don't want that. If you think more intense means better, continue thinking that. I won't follow.

Fårup sommerland 🌲🌿🌳🌱🪴🍂

This is by far the greenest park I've ever seen in my life!
Here you can find all the kind of things you’d find on a mountain trip: adventure courses, mini-golf, a small lake with pedal boats and little boats, trampolines, huge playgrounds, designated barbecue areas, rock climbing, walktrough, horseback riding, picnic tables everywhere...

And all of this while enjoying some amazing theme park attractions!

Fønix was of course the highlight, a super smooth new gen Vekoma that was the perfect intensity for my tastes and gives you such an incredibile airtime!

Lynet has a very powerful launch, but the second half ruined it for me, as it's very headbanging.

Falken is a VERY rough wooden coaster, but surprisingly I had a bunch of fun on it! I just sat in the right position and I haven't had any issue.

Orkanen and the spinning coaster were other two super fun additions to the lineup.

Overall, I can say it's on pair with Djurs for how much I liked it, but I would give a slight edge to Farup for the immense nature vibes it gives! 🌿

Djurs sommerland 🇩🇰

This was a great surprise. A LOT of green places, a lot of attractions of all kinds...and the two top coasters being way better than expected!
Piraten was amazing, the airtime was among the strongest ever felt without being uncomfortable (or maybe just in the last hours of the day)
Juvelen is truly a hidden gem...I can't believed it's classified as a family coaster. I refuse to believed that! It's crazy intense!

The others rides such as the freesbee flat ride and the other activities were all very fun. It's a great park to spend time with the family or friends and in one day you can do almost everything.

Highly recomend!

Hansa Park 🇩🇪

Wow this park REALLY surprised me, and enters in my top 5 parks I've ever visited! Being so amazing and still #3 in Germany, for me, tells how magnificent the park lineup is in this country.
The park is well themed and offers some unique experiences, and as a surprises and uniqueness lover I couldn't not notice it.
There are so many coasters and rides that are worth a try al least once:

Karnan was very very surprising, a lot of unexpected moments (which I won't spoiler) and some of the best scenarios ever seen on a coaster. It also gave me my first evacuation ever and a huge milestone (#200)!!!

Novgorod was a sleeper hit that was one of the MOST underrated coasters I've ever been on, the launch was absolutely powerful and caught me off guard, as well as some airtime moments!

Highlander, the drop tower, was amazing with the tilt and was more fun thank the other drop towers I tried, and the higher of them all!

The family coasters were all surprisingly good, like the new one that was extremely fun and the old Nessie that gave me one very surprising moment of airtime that I won't forget soon! Also the wild mouse, despite being maybe the worst of the coasters in the park, was better than all the others I tried, because even it was well themed!

I would only recomend to give this park a try, you won't regret it!

Bellewarde 2026 🇧🇪

Quite a nice and well mantained park, with some great rides, such as Amazzonia (my favorite one, maybe the first park with a water ride as a standout attraction), Wakala and Huracan. The zoo was pretty amazing too. I think the park deserves something like a bigger thrill coaster to make the lineup more complete, and most of all... GET RID OF THAT BOOMERANG!!!

Cinecittà world (Rome, Italy)

I visited this park twice in the past, back when I wasn’t yet a theme park enthusiast. At the time I had a great experience, probably thanks to the novelty and the company. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about my most recent visit.

The park seems to be declining year after year, almost as if it has been left to itself. Many rides were closed or not operating properly (the bumper cars, for example, were the worst I’ve ever experienced), and there’s a general lack of maintenance throughout the park, from the queue lines to the green areas.

Considering the park’s size and the limited number of standout attractions, the ticket price doesn’t feel justified. Unless there are significant improvements in the future, I don’t see myself returning, which is a real shame because the park has a lot of potential.

That said, Inferno remains my favorite ride there as it’s one of the most fun family coasters in Italy.
Volarium is also great. Altair could be quite enjoyable if it wasn’t for the strong rattle.

Poland 2025 🇵🇱

Energylandia was a nice park, not the most beautiful, but I had so much fun here. So many coasters for all ages, and the Zadra area is nicely themed.

This is the home of my 3 favorite coasters in Poland, the top 2 being obviously Zadra and Hyperion, and the 3rd place going to Abyssus, one of the best surprises and most fun coasters of my entire enthusiast life. It's just my type of ride: launches, airtime, lenght and not too intense!
Zadra is a speed machine, made for making you feel the wind on your face and taking all its elements at a very high speed. My rain ride on it was a painful yet a super fun experience.
Hyperion exceeded my expectations because it's not overly intense and the drop may be the best drop I've ever tried on any coaster, it seems like it never ends! My front row rain ride made me laugh hard for the entire time.
Formula was nice but short.

I'm sad to say that Legendia was the worst park I've ever been on. Lech is the only coaster worth a trip here, then there's Devils loop that was quite fun backwards, but after that, not so much. The worst aspect, that made this park deserve the #1 spot for worst park ever, were the abandoned rides. So many attractions not working for years and left there just for show. There's a tagada structure without the actual ride, left there abandoned to itself.

Lech coaster also went beyond expectations, yeah it's very intense but it didn't give me discomfort or headaches, until my 8th ride when I started to feel a bit nauseous. The drop is also one of the best ever tried and the ejector is pretty good.

One of my favorite coasters I rode in America was one of my new favorite inverts, Banshee.

This coaster has different restraints from other inverted coasters, they're pretty controversial, but I personally liked them more than the original over the shoulders restraints, because of the absence of headbanging, that's one of the biggest problems I found in this coaster model.

This ride has another good reason to be my #2 ranked inverted coaster: the number and variety of inversions. I can't remember every single one, but there's one towards the end that gives you amazing hangtime, rarely found in this model.

Furthermore, there are some positive G moments, but not as strong as other smaller inverts, and I appreciate this as it's not my favorite type of force.

There's a slight rattle that is noticeable in the evening, but doesn't detract a lot from the experience.

This is the coaster that comes close the most to Katun, my favorite invert, having similar height, speed and forces.
My #2 at the park and in my top 20 overall.

This was one of the most, if not THE most, surprising coaster of my American trip: Maverick.

Yes, I know it's quite hyped, but I didn't have the highest expectations for it.

This is a speed-focused ride, and some elements are taken with a very high speed, some transitions could even be too snappy for my tastes.
But that drop (especially in the back), and that second launch, are exhilarating.
There are some ejector airtime moments that quite surprised me, and in certain points the ride felt out of control, just how I like, without being too much or uncomfortable, at least in my experience.

Yeah the restraints aren't the best but I felt like people exaggerate the discomfort they give. The ones on iSpeed are wayyy worse, not even close.

I also did the last ride of the night on it, and that ride allowed it to land in my top 10 (#8).
My personal score for Maverick is 9,5/10.

Cyclone at Coney Island, New York.

This was my first coaster of my American trip and it's the oldest coaster I've ever ridden (98 years old).

It was shockingly good.
The seats and restraints aren't uncomfortable and the ride, while not the smoothest (of course), is still incredibly smoother than a lot of newer rides, even in the same park (just look at that piece of garbage of Thunderbolt).
The restraints allowed you to feel the airtime on every hill and I was literally flying out of my seat on every of them. Ridiculously fun!

On wooden coasters, I'm a fan of the back row, so I only rode it there, but I'm ok with that.

Great coaster, my score is 8,2/10 and it's in my top 30.
