There is a new @kuzipotterystudio at Bao Box! I was invited to try out a class and loved learning to throw - I was quite happy with how my two bowls turned out after mainly expecting that the clay would fly around my ears! Great instructor and lovely environment, plus Miss Cuba was also welcome. by @andreabohnstedt

@circleartagency workshop in paper cuts with @thuku_d who is incredibly talented (check out his work!) and also a very nice person to have a workshop with. This is based on a sketch I had done for wood cut printing, and that I hadn't realised yet because I couldn't work out the colour separation. It's suddenly a lot clearer to me (duh!) I enjoyed this. Might dabble more! by @andreabohnstedt

I may be changing careers immediately, if not sooner. Actually, John did most of the work. We went to @kitengela_glass Glass last weekend and you can book a variety of 'experiences' to try your hand at glass blowing and related crafts. And when you stand in front of those furnaces, it suddenly becomes very clear why your instructor does the bulk of the work: there's plenty of scope for quite significant injuries if you're not careful, and the glass cools down and hardens very quickly. by @andreabohnstedt
